Former 'Jeopardy!' Champ Amy Schneider Welcomes A New Addition To Her Family!

Former “Jeopardy!” champion Amy Schneider has been quiet on Twitter for a little bit, but she’s still around!

She recently took to Twitter on Friday night in order to share a few updates with her fans about how she’s doing. It looks like Amy has a lot on her plate, from appearing on an episode of Gender Reveal, to throwing out the first pitch at the San Francisco Giants game, to welcoming a new member into her growing family!

On Friday night, Amy tweeted, “Hi all! Taking a break from being a Twitter recluse to let you know about a few things.”

“First, I'm a bit late on this, but I was on this week's episode of @genderreveal,” she explained. “It was a great conversation, I always love the opportunity to chat with another trans person. Check it out!”

“Second, I'm super excited for tomorrow! One reason is that it's Pride Night at the @SFGiants game, and I'll be throwing out the first pitch!” she revealed. “However, believe it or not, that's only the second most exciting thing I'm doing tomorrow....”

“Because before the game, we're going to be picking up our new kitten!!!!!” she revealed. “Meet the newest member of our household, Ladybug! She's a calico and very social and confident. We're pretty sure she's going to be bossing Meep around before too long!”

Fans are so excited to see Amy welcome a new cat to her family!

After Amy shared a photo of her new furball, fans had to share photos of their own pets as well. One user shared a photo of their calico cat named Nibs, admitting that she is "confident, very very confident."

"This is my sister’s calico, Alli. We love her and I’m sure you will too," another shared. "She’s lucky to have 2 great moms!"

Another fan shared a photo of a cute kitten, tweeting, "She’s beautiful! 3 years ago I brought home this box of joy the day after our Pride celebration at Medium."

On Monday, Amy followed up on her photo of her new kitty, writing, "I don’t think I truly understood the word 'smol' until our new kitten came home."

Although plenty of fans can't wait for photos of Meep and Ladybug side by side, they also can't wait to cheer Amy on in the 2022 Tournament of Champions later this year!
