Kelly Clarkson Reveals Who Assisted Her Through Divorce From Brandon Blackstock

Kelly Clarkson revealed who helped get her through her difficult divorce.
The singer opened up about her divorce on her TV show, “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”
While interviewing ‘The Chicks,’ who have all gone through a divorce, Clarkson asked what got them through their difficult times.
“So, we all went through divorces. How did you each find strength? And not just music,” she said.

Clarkson admitted working through issues in your music is therapeutic, but there’s other elements that help in hard times.
She continued, “I think it’s therapeutic. But, like, your female friendships? I feel like that has really helped me.”

Kelly addressed her divorce during the premiere of The Kelly Clarkson Show in September 2020.
She said, “2020 has brought a lot of change also to my personal life. Definitely didn’t see anything coming that came. What I’m dealing with is hard because it involves more than just my heart. It involves a lot of little hearts. We have four kids. And divorce is never easy. And we’re both from divorced families so we know the best thing here is to protect our children and their little hearts.”
“The Voice” coach scored a major victory in her divorce battle. Her prenuptial agreement was upheld by the judge in her ongoing divorce, which is a HUGE deal. Millions of dollars were on the line, and Kelly was fighting for property and money she had earned before she was married to Brandon.

In other words, everything she earned before and during their marriage is HERS, he doesn’t get a dime. Brandon wanted to split everything 50/50, but that was a no-go.
Clarkson recently turned the big 4-0.
The singer opened up about leaving her 30s and entering her 40s as a single woman. In March, the TV personality expressed her excitement about this new chapter in her life.
Clarkson had a lot to celebrate like her name officially being changed to “Kelly Brianne.”
In legal documents obtained by The Blast, the ‘Voice’ coach’s desire to legally change her name to “Kelly Brianne” has been granted!
The singer’s full legal name is Kelly Brianne Clarkson, but it has been legally changed to just Kelly Brianne. It became official in a Superior Court of California on March 28th.
The legal document also states, “The court adopts its tentative ruling as the Order of the Court as follows: There being no objections, the petition for change of name is granted. The Decree is signed and filed. The Petitioner’s name is changed from Kelly Brianne Clarkson to Kelly Brianne.”
The Blast broke the news that Kelly wanted to legally change her name following her divorce from Brandon Blackstock.
When filing to legally change her name, Clarkson had to give a reason for the name change.
In previous court documents obtained by us, she wrote, “My new name more fully reflects who I am.”
The form was initially filed on February 14th.
