NBA star Kevin Garnett is at the center of a new custody battle involving a woman seeking support for his alleged 2-year-old daughter.

In new legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Necat Akman asks the court to formally order custody and child support for her young daughter, claiming the basketball player is the father. In the filing, Necat claims Garnett is not fighting the issue of it actually being the child's father, instead she is looking to establish agreed-upon support in Los Angeles, CA.

On Friday, June 3, 2022, Akman filed the custody case saying "(Garnett) and I have signed a voluntary declaration of parentage or paternity regarding the minor children." But, she is asking for the court to make the NBA star "provide medical insurance for the minor child, contribute to add-on expenses incurred on behalf of the minor child, including but not limited to uninsured medical expenses, childcare costs relating to her employment, payment of preschool and private school tuition, and extracurricular activities."

Plus, she is asking Garnett to start a college fund for their daughter, who we are choosing not to name.

Interestingly, Necat doesn't mention Garnett on social media, but regularly posts pictures of their alleged child. It appears she is currently with someone else. Also, there appears to be no mention of the two having a child two years ago. At this point, it will be up to a judge, and the duo will have to face off in a LA courtroom unless they can come up with an agreement. It's possible this will be an amicable agreement, that just needs to be formally signed off on in CA.

According to the documents, the mother and daughter currently live in New York, so it's possible she is trying to establish the support in California because he lives here or she is moving out West.

Reports online indicate this might not be the only child the NBA star has fathered since his divorce with Brandi Garnett.

As we reported, back in 2019, Kevin was ordered to pay $100,000 in child and spousal support to his ex-wife. At the time, Brand was seeking $46,000 a month in child support, claiming she will have their children 95% of the time. She was asking for another $146,000 in spousal support and $300,000 to cover her legal fees. During the divorce, Brandi fought the couple's prenuptial agreement, calling it "unconscionable."

She claimed the document stated that the basketball player would get "almost everything" and she would only receive "an initial payment of $500,000 or $1 million." At the time, she says he was supposed to fund a joint account with $12 million and she would get half if they ever broke up. Shockingly, during the disagreement, Garnett filed a legal document saying, "I began playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves in 1995, about nine years before Brandi and I married." Adding, "my total earnings during the time I played for the NBA were over $300 million."

The former couple made huge headlines after Garnett missed the Athens Olympic Games to marry his longtime girlfriend in 2004.
