Big Cat Rescue CEO Carole Baskin turned 61 on Monday, June 6!

The animal rights activist was born on June 6, 1961, in Lackland, Texas. She tuns the Big Cat Rescue non-profit animal sanctuary in Tampa, Florida, and has received international media attention for her efforts to shed light on protecting big cats.

However, Carole Baskin has also become a household name due to the 2020 Netflix series "Tiger King," which became a global phenomenon during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown due to her public feud with Joe Exotic. Although some believe that Carole Baskin killed her first husband, Don Lewis, Carole insists she didn't and says the FBI has actually found proof that he's still alive in Costa Rica.

Whatever the case, Baskin has since moved on with her life and has earned plenty of supporters for her goal in big cat conservation.

'Tiger King' Fans Wish Carole Baskin A Happy Birthday

The 10 Tampa Bay radio station tweeted, "Hey all you cool cats and kittens, it's Big Cat Rescue CEO and 'Tiger King's' Carole Baskin's birthday!" They encouraged fans to wish her a happy birthday. However, as of this writing, only one person had commented on the post, asking, "Didn't she kill her husband?"

Famous Birthdays also wished Carole Baskin a happy birthday, but it looks like no one had responded to that post either.

Carole Baskin Makes No Mention Of Her Birthday On The Big Cat Rescue Page

Although it's her birthday, Carole made no mention of her birthday when the Big Cat Rescue page posted on Monday morning.

"Good morning Big Cat Rescue Friends! ☀️" the organization tweeted. "Today is Cyrus, Chaos and Zucari’s rescue-versary! Have a great day everyone!"

One supporter, Scott Smith, tweeted, "Happy birthday to this activist. Happy birthday to Carole Baskin."

To celebrate her birthday, fans might want to consider giving Peacock's "Joe vs. Carole" scripted series a try. Although Carole is played by "Saturday Night Live" alum Kate McKinnon in the Peacock series, it gives fans even more backstory into Carole's life.
