Megan Fox Believed Kim Kardashian Was Way Out Of Pete Davidson's League And Refused Him Her Phone Number

Actress and model Megan Foxhas been friends with the Kardashians for a while, but she apparently didn't support Pete Davidson's crush on Kim Kardashian from the start. In the most recent episode of "The Kardashians," 41-year-old Kardashian revealed to fans how she and Davidson got together. 

Kardashian shared that the "Saturday Night Live" star Davidson first approached Fox to ask for her number, and she refused. This happened months before they eventually started dating. She also revealed more details about how their love story started. Keep reading to find out.

On the episode on Thursday, she told fans that she didn't know that Davidson spoke to Fox until they started dating. Fox was also surprised that they were actually together. "After we got together and it was a thing, Megan Fox texted me and [was] like, 'Is this shit for real? Because he asked me for your number months ago,'" Kardashian said.

Kardashian revealed in the confessional that Fox was sure that Davidson would never stand a chance. Not only did She turn down his request, but she also said, "Dude, you have a better shot of me and MGK [Machine Gun Kelly] getting eaten by crocodiles than you [do] ever getting her number." She added, "Never gonna happen. Do not ask us."

Following Fox's revelation, Kardashian also told fans "how it went down" between her and Davidson. She started having feelings for him on an episode of "Saturday Night Live" when they performed an Aladdin and Jasmine sketch as the Disney animated couple. This episode was also Kardashian's hosting debut for the show.

She noted that they shared a kiss "in [a] scene" and "It was just a vibe." This was when she decided to give Davidson a chance. "And I was like, 'Oh shit, maybe I just need to try something different,'" she said. 

She also wanted to make a move at him at her afterparty, but he didn't show up. "Pete does not come to my afterparty — everyone was at my afterparty — does not give me the time of day," she said, "So, a few days later, I called the producer at SNL, and I was like, 'Hey, do you have Pete's number?' And they were like, 'Yeah.'"

She said, "I wasn't even thinking, 'Oh my God, I'm gonna be in a relationship with him.' She also admitted that she only wanted a one-night stand, but things changed. "I was just thinking, 'Heard about this BDE [big d--k energy], need to get out there. I need to just jumpstart my….' I was basically just DTF [down to f--k], she said as she laughed.

The two have been linked romantically since October 2021, when they were seen on a roller coaster holding hands at Knott's Scary Farm park in California. This was a couple of weeks after their on-screen "SNL" kiss. Kardashian has also posted several photos with Davidson on Twitter and Instagram, showing their relationship off to the world. 

Davidson has since left SNL after hosting and featuring on the show for eight seasons. However, a source revealed to People that he "fits right in with Kim's family" and added that the Kardashians approved of the relationship. "They all love him."

Davidson also reportedly spends most of his time with the reality TV star and is totally head-over-heels. "Pete still spends a lot of time in Los Angeles with Kim. He is crazy about her," the source reveals. Kardashian apparently feels the same way about him, and she "is very happy that he is around so much."

While gushing over him in the Thursday episode, she said to her sisters Khloé Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian, "People always say, 'Oh, he's so funny and it has to do with how funny he is,' but that's, like, fourth on my list of why I like him."

She added, "[He] always wants the best for people, can handle anything, always does it with grace. He's really, really thoughtful, humble and just so genuine. I would say the best word to describe Pete is genuine."
