In his interview with E!News at the recent Disney presentation, Adams shared new details of his wedding to Hyland.

"Hopefully this year, but COVID has postponed that a couple times. So, fingers crossed it's this year," added Adams.

He also shared that they used their quarantine wisely while putting everything in place.

"We've been full force into planning for three years, so everything's done. We just need to actually have it."

Before this interview, he spoke to ET about his desire to have his wedding this year. He also added that he would elope to Vegas if his plans fell through.

"COVID delayed us twice. We are hoping to get this thing done this year. If not, we're just going to [Las] Vegas. Powder blue suits, Elvis is doing it. Regardless, we're going to get married."

He continued, "Listen, we've postponed it two years in a row. If something else crazy happens this year, then we're just going to go to Vegas with powder blue suits and knock it out. I'm not sure if we can wait another year. We'll see. Who knows what's going to happen."

While Hyland shared some of his sentiments, she admitted that her fiance might not go to the extreme of eloping because he was more of a romantic and would love his friends and loved ones to be there.

"I am totally fine with eloping. Either Vegas or going to the south of France just the two of us, but Wells is such a romantic, and he wants everybody to be there," she added.

"Maybe that says he loves his family more than I do, but I don't know. I think that hopefully, this will be the year, but I don't know. But we're going to have the people that we love there, which is a lot of people, so we want everybody to be safe."

The pair met in 2017 while Adams was a bartender on "Bachelor In Paradise." Following their interaction on the show, Adams slid into Hyland's DMs, where he told her that he planned to take her out for "tacos and drinks" the next time he was in town.

According to her, it was a bold move that worked.

"I was single, obviously, and was like, 'This is really awesome. You're being very forward and it's sexy and not aggressive, but very confident and sexy,' and I liked that."

A month after, the pair confirmed their relationship status, and in 2018, they moved in together.

The pair announced their engagement at the beach during their vacation to Fiji by the following year.

They Have Had To Postpone Their Wedding Two Times

After their engagement in 2019, the pair were set to tie the knot the following year. However, plans were halted due to the COVID pandemic.

"We kind of set up this big wedding. Then, it got postponed. So then, we set it up again. Then, it got postponed," Adams spoke of the postponement. "We're kind of so committed that we're like, 'Well, we got to have the big wedding.' And so, it's coming."

He concluded, "We have a lot of rich friends. We want them to give us gifts. So, we're going to do it and hopefully, it's not going to get postponed again. Fingers crossed."

Hyland and Adams celebrated their would-be wedding ceremony despite the setback by going to a winery with friends.

"I brought a white dress and a veil I got on Etsy. And my bridesmaids, they got a real wedding bouquet for me and surprised me," Hyland said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, per ET. "And we took fake wedding pictures for fun."

Outside planning for his wedding, Adams has been busy mc-ing and serving as a bartender in "Bachelor In Paradise," preparing for its final episodes.

He opened up about being down to host the show if given the opportunity to do so.

"That's the greatest job in the history of jobs. You say three lines and get to travel around the world and wear cool suits," he added. "So yeah, if ABC wants me to host the show, then let's go. I can also bartend, and I can also be the therapist. What do you guys need me to do? Please and thank you. I would like that job."
