Color Zayn Malik Happy!
The British singer has broken his silence in the wake of Liam Payne’s recent shade on the “Impaulsive” podcast.
The Blast reported earlier this week that Payne appeared on the podcast and shed some light on his relationship with Zayn.
He said, “There’s many reasons why I dislike Zayn, and many reasons why I’ll always, always be on his side. If I had had to go through what he went through… through his growth and whatever else…”

The “Strip That Down” singer also called his ex-bandmate “Wayne Malik.”
It’s unclear if this is his nickname or an insult aimed at Zayn. The podcast was published on May 31st and on June 1st, the ex-boyfriend of Gigi Hadid took to Twitter.
The singer announced his new business venture called “Paynt By Zayn.”
Funny how ‘paynt’ is almost the exact same spelling as ‘Payne.’
Coincidence? Most likely.
Zayn Malik Announces New Business Venture
He announced his first-ever limited-edition merchandise collection. Zayn designed the merch from his own paintings and artwork.
Zayn tweeted, “PAYNT BY ZAYN is here. Excited to share my first-ever limited-edition merchandise collection that I designed from my own paintings and artwork. http://payntbyzayn.com.”
The collection includes graphic T-shirts, hoodies, collared shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants, a Bomber jacket, beanies, baseball caps, a notebook, and a backpack.

The merch ranges anywhere from $19.99 to $74.99.
Many fans were thrilled by his news and commented accordingly on the post.
Fans Flip For Zayn's New Merch Collection
“I AM SO F--KING PROUD OF YOU,” one ecstatic fan commented.
Another complimented Zayn's writing, “beautiful collection.”
“HI ZAYN, I’m so proud of you 🤍🎨 #PAYNTBYZAYN,” this fan replied.
Oddly enough, there were a TON of “I need a sugar daddy” comments on the post, and it seems people were commenting that to boost the post and get it more attention.
As previously stated, his announcement comes a day after Liam spoke about Zayn and kind of dragged him.
“Zayn had a different upbringing in that sense and you can always look at the man for where he is and say, ‘Ah yea, whatever. That guy’s a d**k.’ But at the end of the day when you understand what he’s been through to get to that point or even if he wanted to be there,” Liam said. “I can’t sit here and d**k on him because of whatever. And listen, I don’t agree with any of his actions, I can’t commend some of the things he’s done. I can’t be on his side for that.”
However, Liam suggests he’s just a phone call away should Zayn ever need anything.
“What I can say is I understand and I hope that your only hope is that at some point in their life the person on the other end of the phone wants to receive the help you’re willing to give them,” he said before moving on to another topic.
Liam Clarifies His Previous Statements Following Backlash
Liam got immense backlash for his comments about the former One Direction singer. It was so bad, that he came out to address what he actually meant by it.
"Guys—I wouldn't normally comment on this stuff but when its your family it's hard to let it slide," Liam tweeted on June 2. “They mentioned a specific incident involving Zayn which I responded to - but listening back maybe I didn't articulate myself as well as I could have. I was saying that there will always be things we disagree on but that I will always, always be on his side. That's family. Zayn is my brother and I will stand by him forever."
