The Former "Australia's Got Talent" Judge Had A Relapse After Almost Four Years of Being Sober

Fans expect Osbourne to be open about her pregnancy journey as she has been about her sobriety journey over the years. The Blast earlier reported that she admitted that she relapsed after being sober for almost four years.

The daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne made the revelation when she appeared on Jada Pinkett Smith's "Red Table Talk."

During the conversation, Osbourne recalled sitting by the pool when she saw a stranger and her husband enjoying a glass of champagne which "looked really nice." The poolside event caused her to go in search of some champagne.

The singer and TV personality said that she believed drinking was no longer a problem because she could survive the pandemic without touching a drop of alcohol.

Unfortunately, she thought wrong as she had two glasses the next day, and soon after that, she was consuming bottles.

It was not until another event occurred that Osbourne eventually realized she was back in a dark place. The expectant mother said the moment of realization happened when she found herself "s**tfaced" eating pizza on her boyfriend's couch.

Her man's look when he found her on his couch made her conclude that she needed to make some changes in her life. She did not have to walk the road of recovery alone as she had her brother, Jack, by her side.

Her boyfriend also did his bit by being communicative and encouraging. She divulged that her relationship was a new experience for her as she had never had a boyfriend who supported her like him.

The "Project Runway Junior" judge noted that even though she was a "closet drinker," she only wanted to be the best version of herself, "for my family and my boyfriend and my friends and I was not. I was the furthest thing away from that."

Osbourne's father and brother have also publicly battled addiction and have been on their sobriety journey for as long as fans can remember.
