Mike Massie of Gone With The Twins wrote, “It may not be much more than an extended episode, worked into something slightly more complex than usual with its murder/mystery premise woven into dependable humor and the easy fantasy of animated musicals, but it’s consistently delightful.” Massie gave the film a 6 out of 10.
Carla Hay of Culture Mix wrote, “The movie is a great example of how to please existing fans, as well as how to win over newcomers to a franchise. The Bob’s Burgers Movie isn’t a mindless kiddie film; it has plenty of jokes that adults will appreciate more than underage children will.”
