In the sizzling shot shared to the social media site on May 29, the singer proudly showed off her insanely fit and toned body at 51-years-old as she rocked a seriously sexy two-piece. Blige celebrated her mom Cora’s birthday and took a photo with her while clad in nothing but her bikini.
Looking Ageless
The rapper proved that looking amazing in swimwear certainly has no age limit as she showed off her amazing figure in a scanty set. She wore an orange bikini top with white prints boasting triangular cups with flat straps that clung to her neck, accentuating her toned arms and shoulders. The other pair of strings were wrapped around her back, giving her ample assets a bit more support. Its bright color looked gorgeous against her skin tone, and the piece left plenty of her flat stomach on display.
Blige paired the top with matching bottoms in the same vibrant hue. The bottoms consisted of a triangular patch of fabric with sides that stretched high over her hips. She added a black lace kaftan, featuring long bell sleeves and a long length that possibly reached her ankles.
Meanwhile, her mom sported a red polka-dot swimsuit with halter-style straps and a plunging neckline. She also wore a sheer coverup in the same color.

“The Umbrella Academy” star stood next to her mother, who sat on a white chair. She leaned over and wrapped her right arm around Cora’s shoulder as they smiled at the camera.
Blige accessorized with a pair of oversized hoop earrings in gold, bangles, and sunglasses with light lenses. For her hairstyle, the opted for an updo to keep the blond strands from falling over her face or body.

Making Her Mom Feel Loved Each Year
While they have a loving relationship now, it was not the case in the past. In 2005, Blige opened up about her “prideful” family.
“The environment that I was in — they’ll be mad at me, but it’s the truth — they were angry, hateful, jealous, ignorant, prideful people,” she told The Guardian.
At the time, she also mentioned her mom’s dream to be a singer, noting that it was the reason for their strained relationship.
“It might be that she’s living vicariously through me, but I believe she’s gotten real bitter about it,” Blige shared. “It’s probably why we’ve never really got along.”
