Billionaire Elon Musk decided to challenge AOC to a dare on Twitter last night.

AOC, of course, stands for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who has gotten into plenty of feuds with Musk in the past.

However, the Tesla CEO's recent dare can hardly be called a feud.

Former Ohio State Senator Nina Turner commented, “Trick question: the politicians are bought by and work for the rich. They’re synonymous.” She added, “The politicians bail out and subsidize billionaires like you while they get nothing. You get billions in their tax dollars for Space X, while they can’t afford to go to the doctor.”

Brandon Herrera pointed out, “Billionaires usually had to grind at an idea for their money. Politicians have to grind for ways to get your money.” Another user replied, “Both grind for ways to get my money. However, politicians can be voted out.”

Shortly after, Musk decided to call out AOC.

One user asked, “are you picking on her cause she said she wants to switch from Tesla to another EV?” Musk dropped two emojis as an answer.

Musk’s poll came shortly after Business Insider reported that AOC was considering getting rid of her Tesla. She had apparently told Bloomberg that she was considering dumping her Tesla for an electric vehicle from a company that allowed its employees to unionize.

AOC reportedly told Bloomberg, “He’s a billionaire. I could care less what he thinks.” Ocasio-Cortez bought a Tesla Model 3 in 20202 to commute between Bronx, Queens, and Washington. D.C. “At the time, it was the only EV that could get me from New to Washington on, like, one, or one-and-a-half charges,” she explained. “I would love to switch.”

In late April, AOC tweeted, "Tired of having to collectively stress about what explosion of hate crimes is happening bc some billionaire with an ego problem unilaterally controls a massive communication platform and skews it because Tucker Carlson or Peter Thiel took him to dinner and made him feel special."

Musk replied to the tweet, commenting, "Stop hitting on me, I’m really shy ☺️"

AOC followed it up a short while later with, "I was talking about Zuckerberg but ok." However, she deleted her comment almost instantly.

The following morning, AOC explained why she deleted her tweet, saying, "I try to avoid giving people with massive ego complexes like this the attention and QTs/replies they crave and are seeking (when I can help it 😉)"

However, some Musk supporters still aren't buying her explanation. Regardless, it doesn't seem to be bothering Musk any.
