Meghan Markle Appears Somber During Last Minute Trip To Uvalde, TX.

Meghan Markle is grieving the community of Uvalde, Texas.

The small town of about 16,000 recently experienced and unimaginable tragedy.

On Tuesday, May 24, an 18-year-old gunman walked into Robb Elementary School and opened fire on innocent students and teachers.

Robb Elementary teaches second, third and fourth grade.

19 children and two adults were confirmed dead in the aftermath of the senseless and tragic shooting.

According to reports, the suspected school shooter, Salvador Ramos, crashed his car into a ditch and was able to get past law enforcement. He entered the school, found an open classroom and locked himself inside. That’s when he opened gunfire on the room.

This is the deadliest school shooting in Texas’ history.

Many celebrities have spoken out and paid their respects on social media.

Meghan on the other hand felt compelled to go to Uvalde to pay homage to the innocent lives lost.

On Thursday, May 26, the Duchess of Sussex, who now lives in Montecito, CA., visited the Uvalde County Courthouse to lay down white flowers with a purple ribbon at a memorial site.

Meghan then knelt down and hung her head at the cross for 10-year-old victim Uziyah Garcia.

Dressed in jeans, a white T-shirt, sneakers and a baseball cap, the former royal member walked around the memorial site with her arms folded across her chest.

Meghan’s trip to Uvalde comes days after her father Thomas Markle suffered a stroke.

Earlier this week, Markle was rushed to the hospital by way of ambulance after suffering stroke-like symptoms.

The incident happened around 9:30 p.m., and his condition was so bad that he couldn’t even speak to the paramedics to tell them what happened.

His condition was that severe.

In the wake of his hospitalization, Meghan’s half-sister, Samantha Markle, has spoken out about her sister’s lack of empathy, involvement and assistance toward their father.

Samantha recently appeared on the British News show, “Dan Wootton Tonight,” and gave an exclusive interview about her father.

The half-sister of Meghan explained their father was “doing better. He’s in good spirits.”

Thomas previously suffered two heart attack.

Samantha and Meghan have a tumultuous history and their relationship is nonexistent.

It’s clear Meghan’s older half-sister holds a massive grudge against her.

The Duchess of Sussex has yet to speak out about her father’s medical emergency, which is something her half-sister has taken issue with.

Wootton said, “Dare I ask Samantha, if the family or Thomas or you or your brother have heard from either Meghan or Harry since your dad was rushed to hospital in this emergency?”

This is when Samantha’s somber tone changed and her tears dried up.

“No, no and let me speak to something very important. My father has a huge heart and even though he was not in the wrong… she had a moral obligation, in my opinion, to step forward at any time. Two heart attacks,” she said.  “Everything she has now would not exist without my father.”

Samantha repeatedly said it is Meghan’s “moral obligation” to fix her relationship with her father.

“Her [Meghan] disregard, in my opinion, never reaching out, never advocating for him through two heart attacks, through a pandemic knowing that he was trapped in the house because of media pressure, and during a pandemic everyone was more sedentary and reclusive and not going out; so all things taken together really took a toll on his health,” Samantha exclaimed. “So, I feel there’s a negligence there. In my opinion, I feel like it’s, in my opinion, elder abuse, because she had to see what’s happening.”

She alleges Meghan didn’t help him and make sure he was taken care of loved.

“There is no excuse for the disregard. There is no excuse for the callous observation of everything that he was going through and she wasn’t blind to it. She saw what was happening in the media, so I don’t understand how she could just do nothing,” Samantha heatedly stated.

She also feels it is Meghan’s responsibility to help pay for Thomas’ medical bills, because he “everything she has now would not exist without my father.”
