The country music star recently made his fans happy after taking to Instagram to unveil the art for an upcoming duet with the "Marry Me" actress.

In the song artwork, Allen could be seen in his signature cowboy hat and a black leather jacket with a leopard print around its collar.

JLo, standing behind him, rocked a leopard print look from top to bottom. The duo stood in front of a lit-up star sign embedded in a wooden wall with the song's title, "On My Way," beneath them.

Allen captioned the post with, "@jlo X Jimmie Allen." He also included the song's release date – Friday 27 – and the hashtag #tulipdrive, meaning that this collaboration will be a part of his upcoming album, "Tulip Drive."

A third fan claimed that even though the original single was good, it would get better with Allen on it. Several other fans pointed out that the music stars had come full circle.

According to ET, the "Best Shot" singer came to the limelight after competing on "American Idol," where JLo was a judge.

The news outlet recently spoke to Allen, who returned to the singing competition to serve as a mentor, about his time on the long-running show and any pointers he had for the then-season 20 contestants.

The 36-year-old said that while it was a learning experience, the contestants had to "make the best out of this opportunity."

He added that even though they were on a platform that millions of people were watching, the show was about them "slowly making fans with every performance you have and getting to know you as a person in interviews."

Allen also added that the contestants had to let the audience know them as "an artist through your performance." He also noted that whoever was planning to become a  mainstream success like him had to have a plan.

The last time the "Make Me Want To" artist was in the news, he was getting congratulatory messages from fans and followers. Last October, The Blast reported that Allen and his wife, Alexis Gale, welcomed their second child together.

The songwriter first hinted at the arrival of his bundle of joy by announcing the postponement of his North Carolina show due to a "family emergency" on his Instagram Story in October 2021.

He added that his team was working on getting the show rescheduled. Moments later, the "Don't You Wanna Know" singer cryptically broke the news of his daughter, Zara James Allen's arrival by uploading a baby emoji.

Media outlets subsequently confirmed the happy news and reported that both mother and child were in good health.

While the latest member of the Allen family is the couple's second child together, the baby girl is the "All Tractors Ain't Green" singer's third child.

Allen has a son, Aadyn, from a different relationship. The "This Is Us" singer and his wife publicly unveiled they were expecting another baby in June 2021.

The pregnancy unveiling featured Allen's wife and her baby bump in stunning pictures. One of the images showed the then-expectant mother posing with her stepson and first daughter, holding a pregnancy test.

When he appeared on "The Sam Alex Show" later that month, the father-of-three confessed that he and his wife were expecting another daughter.

He even admitted that they were yet to reach a consensus about their daughter's name and that he was leaning towards naming her "Arya Stark Allen because I'm a huge Game of Thrones fan, but Lex ain't lettin' that happen!"
