First Time Mama Rihanna Is Super Attached To Her Newborn!

Since the birth of her first child almost two weeks ago, singer, actress, fashion mogul and billionaire, Rihanna Robyn Fenty, is still over the moon about her baby boy.

The Fenty founder and her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, welcomed their child together on May 13, 2022. This is the first child of the duo who became romantically involved in 2020 after several years of being friends. However, the baby's name and other intricate details haven't been disclosed yet.

A source recently opened up to People about the pair's journey into parenthood, stating that they are settling well and are doing great at it.

According to a source, Rihanna has been in awe of her baby. The insider explained that she was excited to be pregnant and equally excited to meet her child.

"Being a new parent is of course an adjustment, but they are doing great. Their baby boy is healthy and Rihanna is just in awe of him," the insider explained. "She really was so excited to be pregnant. She loved it. Meeting her son was of course extremely special too."

The source continued, "Rihanna barely leaves his side. She is a fantastic mom. She wanted to give birth in LA since she has a big house with a yard. She enjoys sitting outside with her baby."

The source also noted that the "Diamonds" singer isn't in a "hurry to return to work," adding that she enjoys spending "time with her child."

A week after her son made his grand appearance, another insider divulged to People that they were in Los Angeles with the newborn.

"Rihanna is doing well," the source disclosed. "They are very excited to be parents. Rihanna is already a wonderful mom."

In January, the "What's My Name" crooner revealed that she was expecting her first child with Rocky. This was after the pair were spotted in New York City with Rihanna wearing a long pink jacket that exposed her baby bump.

In one of the pictures, the rapper kissed the soon-to-be mom as they walked down the street.

Last year, Rocky had an interview with GQ, where he opened up about his relationship with Rihanna and called her the "love of his life" and "the one."

Describing what it's like to be in a relationship with the singer, Rocky added, "So much better. So much better when you got 'the One.' She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones."

He concluded, "I think when you know, you know. She's the One."

He also shared his desire to have kids with the fashion mogul. "It's in my destiny, absolutely." He added, "I think I'd be an incredible, remarkably overall amazing dad. I would have a very fly child. Very."

Over the past four months, Rihanna has consistently turned heads and impressed with her pregnancy style. She even shared with Vogue that she wouldn't consider wearing maternity clothes, adding that it was too much "fun" to dress up.

"None of the dials are turned down," she told Vogue. "I think I even say yes to more now because I know it will be different on the other side of this. At first I expected some magical change, but really I remain who I am. I'm not going to let that part disappear because my body is changing."

She also shared the same sentiments with Entertainment Tonight and People.

"Fashion is one of my favorite things, so, you know, we're defying what it even means to be pregnant and maternal. It can get uncomfortable at times and so you can dress the part and pretend," she explained to ET.

And she shared with People, "I'm enjoying not having to worry about covering up my tummy. If I feel a little chubby, it's like, whatever! It's a baby."

It appears that the pair will make a protective duo. A source shared that Rocky has been supportive of the Fenty founder and her pregnancy.

"He has been right by her side for all the regular daddy-to-be duties like rubbing her back and feet, going to all the doctor's appointments with her, and running errands whenever she needs," they shared with Hollywood Life.

They also added that he had taken his support to extra lengths by turning down offers to head out to clubs and parties with his friends. This has been reported to resonate with Rihanna as they prepared for their new phase as parents.

"He's showing Rihanna that he's the kind of man who will be an incredible father to their baby," they added.
