'The Walking Dead' Fans Wish Melissa McBride A Happy 57th Birthday!

Actress Melissa McBride celebrated her 57th birthday on May 23!

Born in 1965, the Lexington, Kentucky native is best known for playing Carol Peletier on the AMC series “The Walking Dead” since the pilot episode. Although she and Norman Reedus were supposed to star in an upcoming “The Walking Dead” spin-off show together, McBride had to back out of the project due to complications filming in Europe.

Although she received a fair amount of criticism for backing out of the project, many fans of the long-running zombie series still took to social media to wish McBride a happy 57th birthday!
