The worldwide fans of Doja Cat would be pleased to know that she is retracting her emotional outburst of quitting her musical career for good.

Earlier this year, the multi-award-winning songstress announced that she was done with music and not cut up for the superstar lifestyle.

Following her nod at the 2022 Grammy Awards ceremony, the "Kiss It Better" singer confirmed that, though she wants to walk away from the music scene, she would be doing the opposite.

While at the MGM Arena in Las Vegas for the 2022 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, May 15, Doja Cat told Live From E! hosts that she is not hanging up her music cape just yet.

The birth name of the American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini. She made her mark in the music industry after making and releasing music on SoundCloud as a teenager.

The "Woman" musician told hosts Justin Sylvester and Erin Lim about her desire to let her focus on music take precedence over other responsibilities. She said:

"But I think it's also—I'm here because I made music, and I want to make music again. And I just—it's like, how am I supposed to do that when I'm doing a bunch of other things?"

The hosts brought up Doja Cat's shocking tweet in March where she announced that she was quitting music and asked if she meant the statement as a joke.

It turns out that the "Birds of Prey: The Album" artist meant what she wrote at the time in all seriousness but has had a change of heart. She stated, "it wasn't a joke to me."

The star's 2021 chart-topping album "Planet Her" earned her a whopping eight nominations from the Recording Academy.

Doja Cat's single featuring "SZA" titled "Kiss It Better" won a Grammy in the category of Pop Duo/Group Performance. She also ended her night at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards ceremony as a winner.

The "Get Into It" singer took home four Billboard awards. All these wins seemed to have given her clarity that she still has a thriving career in entertainment. She said:

"I'm getting a break, and that break is gonna be me making music—which is funny. It's like, ‘I want to stop music,' but I don't. I wanna keep doing music."

Doja Cat was also upset not to find any supporters outside her hotel in the area. In a now-deleted tweet, she wrote:
