Teen Cancer America’s mission is “increasing survival and improving the lives of young adults with cancer by transforming hospitals to better serve their needs.”

This foundation is very near and dear to Kylie and Hudson’s hearts.

Kylie’s bestie was diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgkin Lymphoma in 2013 at the age of 20. He was successfully treated and at 27-years-old, he established the teen cancer charity: Hey, I’m Here For You.

Hudson paid a visit to Nashville, TN. where he set aside time to visit the Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

The sign leading into the teen lounge reads, “Teen Lounge Brought To You By Teen Cancer America With Support From Kylie Jenner And Harry Hudson’s Hey, I’m Here For You.”

Hudson proceeded to give a tour of the teen center which is equipped with flat screen TVs, multiple work stations, a meditation room and more.

The center was completed in 2021, but Kylie and Hudson’s journey to helping teens with cancer dates back even further.

Kylie Cosmetics Sales Helped Build The Teen Cancer Lounge

In 2017, the besties took to her then-YouTube channel to share an exciting announcement.

On her 20th birthday, Kylie made a pledge to donate a portion of the proceeds from KylieCosmetics.com to Teen Cancer America.

“Did you know every hour a teen in the US gets diagnosed with cancer? And as an ambassador of Teen Cancer America we’re trying to bridge the gap between child and adult cancer care,” Hudson told viewers. “Kylie was right there by my side through all my chemo treatments and together we are spreading awareness through her product.”

According to E! News, in March 2021, the charity and Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tenn. announced that her donation and additional funds from the group were used to pay for the construction of a new state-of-art lounge for teen and young adult (AYA) cancer patients.

At the time of the center’s completion, Hudson issued a statement.

"I am so grateful for Kylie's friendship and the impact she's had on my life and my cancer journey," Harry said in a statement.

He continued to gush about how she’s always been there for him, and together they wanted to find a way to pay it forward.

“We wanted to figure out a way to be there for other young people who are battling this disease. With the help of Teen Cancer America, we were able to contribute the first Hey, I'm Here For You Teen lounge at Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt — a comfortable space for young people undergoing treatment to pursue their passions,” the statement said. “This is a full-circle moment for me, and I am excited to continue growing my partnership with Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt and TCA."
