Joshua Bassett Just Released The Date For His First Headlining World Tour

Disney actor Joshua Bassett just announced his first-ever world tour. In addition to his role in the Disney + series "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series," the 21-year-old has also released a number of singles but is yet to release his debut solo album.
The artist previously came out as a part of the LGBTQ+ community; however, he didn't specify his classification in the community. Bassett did admit that he felt liberated after the admission.
The Disney star recently announced his world tour dates for his world tour dubbed "Joshua Bassett's Tour." The tour will kick off on September 9 and end on October 11.
Bassett Is Going On Tour
"High School Musical: The Musical: The Series" actor Bassett just announced his world tour dates. The tour titled "Joshua Bassett's Tour" will be the 21-year-old's first headlining world tour and will span across venues in North America and Europe. Special guests include Lindsey Lomis and Stacey Ryan.
The tour will reportedly start on September 9 at the Axis Lounge in Toronto, Ontario. Other stops during Bassett's North American leg of the tour include places like New York City's Bowery Ballroom on September 12 and The Troubadour in Los Angeles on September 22. The actor will wrap up the tour at the Music Box in San Diego, California, on September 26.
After his last stop in North America, the 21-year-old will move to Europe for a show at Les Etoiles in Paris, France, on October 4. Bassett will also be live at venues in countries like the Netherlands and Germany before the end of the tour. The last show will be held on October 11 at London's O2 Academy Islington.
Bassett Announced His Tour On Instagram
The "Feel Something" artist took to Instagram to announce his upcoming world tour as well as the dates and venues. The post's caption read, "I'M GOING ON TOUR THIS FALL !!! presale tickets available tomorrow 12pm ET ! I can sign up to get the presale code on my tour page! all other tix on sale fri may 20 at 10 am !!! see u there :)"

Despite the 21-year-old releasing yet another single, "Doppelgänger," in February, Bassett is yet to release his debut solo album. Other works of his include "Common Sense," released in 2020, "Lie Lie Lie, "Secret," "Crisis," "Feel Something," and "Set Me Free," all released in 2021. The songs are reportedly a part of the artist's tour setlist.
The "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series" actor recently performed in a Disney+ series called "Better Nate Than Ever." His hit Disney series, "High School Musical: The Musical: The Series," is also gearing for its third season after being renewed in September last year.
Bassett Said He Feels 'More Liberated' After Coming Out As Part Of The LGBTQ+
In an interview with People in March, the 29-year-old talked about coming out as a part of the LGBTQ+ community and how it would have made everything different if he had been more informed as a child.
"If somebody had talked about all this stuff when I was a kid, it would've made a world of difference." The actor didn't reveal his actual classification in the community but said coming out was "the easiest thing I've ever done."
Bassett continued, "I feel so much more liberated. It showed me how silly it is to hide who you are in order to appease a small group of people. At what cost do you bury your heart and soul?"

Fans of the actor can start purchasing the tickets to his world tour at 10 am Friday, May 20. Bassett hasn't officially dropped any merch for the tour; however, his official website has T-shirts and hoodies from his singles like "Doppelgänger" and "Crisis" available.
