100 students will be able to thank the "Sicko Mode" rapper for setting them on the right path straight out of post-secondary school. $10,000 is on the line for the selected students with stipulations of course. They must maintain at least a 3.5 GPA, and have no outstanding financial bumps in the road that could cause a problem later.

The scholarships are established through Travis Scott’s Waymon Webster Scholarship Fund. The exciting news also featured some of the receipts who will hopefully be able to collect their cheque at the end of the school year. Admittedly $10,000 is a great motivator to get the best grades you possibly will in your college career. For most of the recipients, there is a powerful backstory behind their monetized award. Encarnacion is from the Virgin Islands. She isn’t only a full-time student she also takes care of her family back home. Specifically her mother and her daughter.

Jordan Massey is a communications major who is excited to have this lucky opportunity to push him forward. The Astroworld rapper first shared news of what his foundation would be up to back in March. The foundation isn’t only giving away money, they are using the hands-on approach with children. $5 million is going towards providing free mental health programs for children at risk and expanding his creative design program through his Cactus Jack initiative.

One of the most important parts of Travis Scott’s foundation is that it allocates money towards making fans feel safe and BE safe at not only his concerts but other artists' shows as well. He was wrapped up in a horrific accident involving one of his Astroworld performances. Several fans were seriously injured with 10 of them passing away.

Project HEAL is Travis Scott’s first non-profit initiative. He continues to push forward with more inspiring ideas.

The rapper’s Astroworld accident put him in a bad place. Concert goers were coming forward sharing their experiences and every one of those recounts made the whole show sound like a disaster.

Some of the attendees claimed that they were struggling for room well before the trampling took place. Others claimed that security was vibin’ along with them making them not ready to jump when the incident took place.

Travis Scott publicly apologized and even stepped away from the spotlight for a moment to collect himself. He is now back with a response to the backlash. He also had another kid the baby boy formerly known as Wolf.
