For those of you unfamiliar with the process, the appellate court "will review the trial court record to decide if a legal mistake was made in the trial court that changed the outcome of the case." In most situations, you can ask the Appeals Court to check if there was a "Prejudical error." This would include, a "kind of error is a mistake about the law or court procedures that cause substantial harm to the appellant. A prejudicial error can include things like mistakes made by the judge about the law, incorrect instructions given to the jury, and errors or misconduct by the lawyers or by the jury. The mistakes must have harmed the appellant."

Second, White can ask for the Appeals court "to determine if there was no substantial evidence that reasonably supported the trial court's decision."

As you know, Blac Chyna lost in her bid to hold The Kardashians responsible for losing her reality show and using their power to strip her ability to make money in the Entertainment business.

Blac Chyna sued the Kardashians for $40 million in loss of earnings and more than $60 million in future earnings. She claimed the powerhouse family used their influence to tarnish her reputation and prevent her from getting a second season of 'Rob & Chyna.'

During the trial, Chyna's attorney grilled Kris Jenner -- asking if she could remember having a conversation with a network executive about not being happy with the couple's relationship. She asked about alleged messages sent, where Jenner called Chyna "stupid" and "really ghetto," and suggested the network should "ditch the b---h."

If you were following this case, the appeal was expected. Chyna's attorney released a statement following a motion to have the trial dismissed claiming the judge had been biased toward the famous family." The lawyer, Lynna Ciani said, "Judge Alarcon is the fox who appointed himself to guard the chicken coop." Adding, "He violated California law by striking Plaintiff’s Verified Statement of Disqualification and at the same time filing a one-page ‘Verified Answer’ that was required to be reviewed by a different judge."

We are guessing this is part of the appeal.

Also, the Chyna legal team was very upset, accusing Alarcon of showing an "undeniably hostile and extremely biased" attitude against her and having an "abhorrent mishandling" of the Kardashian family attorney's "unlawful showing of naked photos" of Chyna. She concluded, "Angela White deserved a fair trial in a court of law and she did not receive a fair trial."

The next step in this process is for Chyna's team to file an appeal "brief" which will outline their issues in the case.

Either way, this is FAR from over.
