Famous director Jason Reitmanis in fear for his safety after a man attempted to deliver him a "movie script" directly to his private home.

According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, the 'Ghostbusters'and 'Juno' director filed a restraining order in Los Angeles County Courts to attempt to stop the man from returning to his home.

In the filing, Reitman claims on April 30, 2022, a man "knocked on the front door of my house." Adding, "He appeared jittery and nervous. When I answered the door, he tried to give me a paper copy of a movie script to read. I told (him) it was not appropriate for him to come to my home in order to deliver a script. I informed him that if he wanted to submit a script, coming to my house at night was not the proper avenue."

The director asked the man to "leave immediately."

Unfortunately, the person would not leave the property, he was forced to call the Beverly Hills Police Department, who rushed to his home. Cops questioned the man, who claimed he found an address for the famous director online. The officers told the man he was not to return to Reitman's home unless he was invited.

The next day, the director claims friends leaving a dinner party noticed the man's vehicle parked near Jason's home. Again, he called the police and the person told officers he wanted to show the 'Ghostbusters' director that he was "determined." Reitman's attorney, Shawn Holley, filed the restraining order immediately following the incident.

Several days later, Reitman says, "I was alerted by a Nest Security Camera placed in front of my home that movement was detected outside my front door. When I reviewed the footage, I observed Mr. Brown walking up to my driveway in the direction of my front door. He walked up to my front door two times. I observed him loitering outside the front of my home, appearing to scope out and study the front of my house."

The Beverly Hills Police Department was called for the third time, and it was documented.

"I do not know (the person) and I have no relationship with him. Prior to him coming to my home uninvited, I had never heard of him, met him, or communicated with him...there is absolutely no reason for him to contact me or come to my home," Jason wrote. Adding, "as a result of (his) stalking and harassment, I have suffered, and continue to suffer, severe emotional distress. I am particularly fearful of him because he has come to my home on numerous occasions, even after being told not to return. It scares me that he is not deterred by law enforcement. I am in fear for my safety and the safety of my daughter."
