Christina Haack and ex-husband Ant Anstead have been ordered to work out their custody issues in private, at least for now.
According to new legal documents, obtained by The Blast, an Orange County, California judge ordered the former couple to meet with a private court mediator to attempt to work out their differences.
As we reported, Anstead shocked the world after revealing he believes the 'Flip or Flop' star has issues with parenting and wants to get full custody of their young son.
"The court orders both parties to be personally present to attend a mandatory mediation regarding any disputed custody and/ or visitation issues. A mediation appointment is required by (the family code) if you do not agree about custody and visitation," the document states.
No Media, Public Will Be Allowed In Christina & Ant's Private Mediation Session
In the filing, the couple was ordered to meet with a mediator on June 15, 2022. The court-ordered meditation is private, and the media and public are kept out of the sessions.
In explosive divorce documents, Anstead accused the reality star of mostly being absent from the former couple's 2-year-old son's life. He claims she has spent an average of "9 full days each month" with him over the past 20 months.
Also, he claims that when she does have custody -- she blasts the toddler's picture all over social media, including paid postings, and he wants it all to stop.
Specifically, Ant makes it appear Chistina is a bad mother by claiming she returned the child to his father's care with a nasty sunburn. Anstead says the sunburn was so bad it left him crying in pain, and all she responded was, "It didn't feel hot. Give him some Tylenol I'm sure it will be better tomorrow."
Ant Anstead BLASTS Christina Haack Claiming She Is An Absentee Mother
To make matters worse, he alleges she returned the child to his family without disclosing her family was suffering from COVID-19. "At the time my partner (actress Renee Zellweger) was filming her new project and her Covid diagnosis placed the whole production on pause."
Of course, Ant didn't leave out the allegations of drug use -- after Christina admitted to trying a hallucinogenic toad venom. The reality star admitted on social media she smoked the trippy substance and it led to meeting her new husband. "I met Josh when I wasn't in a state of fear or fight-or-flight … I had taken time off social, hired a spiritual coach, and smoked a Bufo toad," she said. Adding, "basically reset my brain and kicked out years of anxiety in 15 mins."
'Flip Or Flop' Star Christina Haack Says 'What Ant Is Doing Saddens Me'
At this point, Ant is asking for full custody of the 2-year-old -- and wants Christina to have alternating weekends. Plus, he is asking for a judge to order Haack not to include him in the commercial posts on Instagram.
It should be noted, that Anstead originally filed this custody document as an emergency case, but a judge denied the request -- setting in motion the private mediation meeting.
Christina responded to the nasty filing, saying, "What Ant is doing deeply saddens me. If this was really about Hudson, as he says, this should have been handled privately with a private judge or mediation, as myself and my attorney have suggested. I have had my share of ups and downs but I am a good mom and I love my children with all my heart and I will always protect them."
IF the former couple can't resolve their differences with a court mediator, they could end up on a full-blown custody trial.
