Actress Hilary Duff is embracing her body by appearing nude on the cover of the “Women’s Health” body issue.
The “How I Met Your Father” actress and mom-of-three talked about how proud she is of her body and how she is now “peaceful” with the changes to her body over the years.
Hilary Duff Admits That Her Nude Photos Were Touched Up
⚡️ @HilaryDuff spent years trying to live up to Hollywood’s standards. Now, as she poses for the May cover of Women’s Health’s Body Reflections issue, she’s approaching her life and career on her own terms: https://t.co/q25q0y1iCE pic.twitter.com/x8Mta1tAB4

Although plenty of celebrities use photoshop in their photos, the “Lizzie McGuire” alum was candid about the work done to her body. She said she wanted “people to know a makeup artist was there putting glow all over my body and someone put me in the most flattering position,” as per Yahoo.
“I’m proud of my body,” she continued. “I’m proud that it’s produced three children for me. I’ve gotten to a place of being peaceful with the changes my body has gone through.”

Duff mentioned that part of those “peaceful” changes isn’t just physical health; it’s mental health, too. She said that she told her son that therapy is always an option for him if he ever wants it.
“We bust our a-- to get our bodies in shape and to look the best we can,” she continued. “We get facials and Botox and our hair done and highlights and brows and lash lifts and all this s---. But I want to work on the inside. That’s the most important part of the system.”

Back in 2018, the “A Cinderella Story” actress previously spoke to Women’s Health about the pressure to drop her baby weight quickly, which created mental health challenges of their own.
“It wasn’t until my mind adjusted to not caring as much that I started to figure it all out,” she explained. “I realized that I am never going to be the same again, and that’s okay. I’ve learned to be proud of what my body does for me, and what it did while I was pregnant with my son.”
Fortunately, she said that she now has a “pretty healthy relationship” with her body after learning to appreciate what her body does for her.
And while @HilaryDuff works hard in the gym, she says “the most important part of the system” is feeling happy, whole, and content on the inside. These are the routines and affirmations that have helped her see the light: https://t.co/q25q0y1iCE pic.twitter.com/JERhrg5s4S

“I don’t need to be a super-skinny person,” she continued. “I’m normal, and I have a good relationship with food and indulging myself while being healthy and giving my body what it needs.”
Part of that involves a new partnership with King’s Hawaiian rolls. On May 1, Hilary posted a photo of her preparing sliders alongside her husband Matthew Koma, who she married in 2019. She had previously been married to Mike Comrie from 2010 to 2016.

“It’s #SliderSunday everyone…my favorite day around here because it requires very little cooking! Very little mess and big satisfying taste with @KingsHawaiian rolls! Honestly, I can’t make them fast enough…just look at Matthew eyeing that one!” she captioned the snap.
“I just wish somebody would look at me like matt looks at those rolls,” one fan joked in the comments.
