Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas Post Daughter's Pic On Instagram

Priyanka Chopra and husband Nick Jonas took to Instagram on Mother's Day, to share the very first pic of their little bundle of joy, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, and also detailed the journey it took for her to finally come home.

Chopra, 39, and Jonas, 29 welcomed their baby girl via a surrogate in January this year, and after 100 days in the NICU, she is finally home with her mom and dad.

When Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra took to Instagram on January 22, to announce the arrival of their baby girl and how they conceived her, the trolls arrived in full force.

The comments were awful. Like: "Surrogacy should only be limited to the women who can not biologically have children. If people are just using it because they have money and they don't want their precious body to get ruined then shame on them. Babies are not transactions. If someone doesn't go through a harsh pregnancy how can they call themselves mothers? Giving birth is not easy."

One commenter, and not even a fan, empathized better, saying: "I'm sorry. Don't remotely know these 2 people. But if I were them after these comments, some of them, I'd tell humans to p**s off and never go on social media again. They make movies and music. They aren't gods. You don't know them. You don't get to say dumb s**t. Honestly. People need to get a life. And congrats."

People are not very nice on Instagram, are they?

Wrote Priyanka Chopra, "On this Mother’s Day we can’t help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we’ve been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced."

The same statement was echoed by Nick Jonas as well, as the couple wrote, "After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home. Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is. We are overjoyed that our little girl is finally home, and just want to thank every doctor, nurse, and a specialist at Rady Children’s La Jolla and Cedar Sinai, Los Angeles, who were there selflessly every step of the way. Our next chapter begins now, and our baby is truly a badass. Let’s get it MM! Mommy and Daddy love you."

The MM stands for Malti Marie, the perfect amalgamation of two cultures coming together in a name. Malti is an Indian name and is the Hindi name for the Rangoon creeper flower, and Marie is a nod to Nick Jonas' American roots.

Jonas, in his post, wished PC, saying, "Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mothers and caretakers out there, but I want to take a minute to say a special Mother’s Day wish to my incredible wife @priyankachopra on her first Mother’s Day."

He continued being sweet and emo, writing, "Babe, you inspire me and every way, and you are taking to this new role with such ease and steadiness. I am so grateful to be on this journey with you. You are already an incredible mother. Happy Mother’s Day. I love you."

Meanwhile, his wife replied, "Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and caretakers in my life and out there. You make it look so easy. Thank you. Also... there is no one I’d rather do this with than you. Thank you for making me a mama @nickjonas I love you."
