“Star Wars” alum Daisy Ridley may be done throwing her lightsaber around, but it seems Star Wars Day got her feeling nostalgic.

The annual holiday is held every May 4 and is also known as “May the Fourth Be With You.” It’s a clever pun on the phrase “May the Force Be With You” that is commonly heard in a galaxy far, far away.

The “Chaos Walking” actress posted a throwback snap to one of her first photoshoots after 2019’s “The Rise of Skywalker” came out and fans are calling it her best photoshoot ever.

‘Need Some More Daisy Abs In My Life’

The first photo shows Daisy donning some high-waisted jeans with a wide cuff on the beach as she pulls her slicked-back hair out of her face. The next photo shows Daisy shielding her eyes from the sun as she wraps a blazer around her.

The last photo shows Daisy in a white Calvin Klein sports bra with her hands in the pocket of some loose-fitting overalls. Her wispy wet hair is dangling in front of her face and fans can see sand lining her arm from her shoulder to her elbow.

“Could use some of that California sunshine right about now,” Daisy wrote in the caption. “Throwback to my January/February 2020 cover with @britishgq shot by @alexilubomirski.”

Daisy Ridley Is Still Rocking Those Abs With Killer Workout Routine

Daisy posted a video of her working out with her trainer, Matt Bevan, proving how strong her abs (and arms!) really are as she held herself up and showed her fans how strong she really is!

“A little midweek torture c/o @mattbevan_, who somehow manages to turn 20 seconds into 40 🤨,” she captioned the video.

“DAISY YOUR HAIR,” one fan wrote, referring to her new pixie haircut that she displayed at the BAFTAs earlier this year.

The film is based on the novel of the same name by Glenn Stout. The book tells the story of Gertrude "Trudy" Ederle, who is played by Daisy Ridley. In 1926, she became the first woman to ever swim across the English Channel. Ederle was the daughter of a German butcher from Manhattan who became a competitive swimmer that won the gold medal in the 1924 Olympic Games. Ederle first swam 22 miles from Battery Park, New York to Sandy Hook, New Jersey, and set an 81-year record before she eventually attempted to cross the English Channel.

On Wednesday, Deadline reported that “Doctor Who” star Chris Eccleston will join the cast. Tilda Cobham-Hervey and Stephen Graham are also set to star. The film will be directed by Joachim Rønning and is currently in production. No release date has yet to be announced!
