Selena Gomez has earned the title of most relatable celebrity!
From her hilarious Tik Toks to opening up about her mental health challenge and advocating for body positivity, Gomez is all about spreading good vibes!
However, like the rest of us, the triple threat entertainer has some days she struggled and she recently opened up about it.
Selena Gomez Wants To Learn Patience For Herself
To commemorate May's Mental Health Awareness Month, the "Wizards of Waverly Place" alum launched the Wondermind initiative on Wednesday, May 4.
The campaign called Wondermind's Thanks for Sharing hopes to normalize conversations about mental health and encourage people to openly speak about what they might be going through.
Leading by example, Gomez in a clip shared on the official Wondermind Instagram page, opened up about what she was dealing with at the moment.
"One thing I am dealing with right now is being patient with myself," Gomez confessed. "I tend to be a little unkind to myself, and I gotta work on that."
She continued, "That's something that I do find frustrating and I just need to allow myself to feel my feelings and then let them go."
The Disney child star shared that she believes having honest and open conversations can lead to change in how the world views mental health.
Gomez encouraged listeners not to shy away from talking as they would be surprised to know how many people were experiencing something similar.
She also urged them to seek advice from professionals, concluding her message by saying, "take some time for your mind!"
The singer's candid confession was well-appreciated by fans who praised her for her good work. One user wrote, "Sharing about my issues has helped me a lot in the past ❤️ thank u for this."
Another fan wrote, "I love everything you’re doing. Thank you for making an impact 👏👏."

The "Same Old Love" songstress first about up about her mental health struggles in 2014 after she was diagnosed with lupus in 2014 and ever since she has been an advocate for kindness.
In April 2020, Gomez revealed she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder but that only inspired her to put more effort into promoting mental health awareness.
Slamming The Body Haters With Kindness
When the 29-year-old isn't spreading love, she keeps busy sending a message to trolls and body haters who talk down on her looks.
As The Blast reported, last month, the "Kill Em With Kindness" singer made headlines for slamming the trolls who commented on her weight.
She took to TikTok to make a playful clip while laying in bed. "I do try to stay skinny but I went to jack-in-the-box and I got four tacos, three egg rolls, onion rings, and a spicy chicken sandwich," Gomez joked.
The "Only Murders In the Building" star, continued, giving a PSA to the trolls. "Honestly, I don't care about my weight because people b**ch about it anyway. 'You're too small; you're too big. bla bla bla."
She concluded with a stern message, "B**ch I'm perfect the way I am! Moral of the story? Bye."

Gomez is often a victim of body shamers online but it doesn't bother her at all as she knows how to deal with the negative energy.
In an interview with Good Morning America, the award-winning entertainer revealed that she is rarely on social media for the sake of her mental health. She disclosed that she hasn't been on social media platforms for four and a half years.
"I don’t care to expose myself to everyone and hear what they have to say about it," Gomez explained. She added that staying offline had done wonders for her mind and it helped reduce the unnecessary comparisons and self-hate.
As a result, her relationship with herself has gotten much better and she wouldn't have it any other way.
