Tostitos not only knows how to choose the best dipping sauce flavors, but they also do a great job in choosing partnerships with today's biggest stars.

In addition to Danny Trejo, America's favorite chip is also partnering with Latin artist Sofia Reyes who is one of the hottest, rising stars in today's music.

In celebration of Cinco De Mayo, Tostitos is teaming up with Reyes and Trejo for the Fiesta Remix campaign to serve fresh inspiration for how to keep the celebration rolling all summer long, including Millennial Lotería and a TikTok competition to win a 5-carat gold Fiesta Remix Party Pack on May 5th - complete with a one-of-a-kind solid gold Tostitos Scoops necklace!

In an interview with The Blast correspondent Ty Cole, the Mexican singer shares why she decided to partner with the brand, the best part about working with Trejo, which artists are on her playlist when hosting a fiesta, and who she would like to perform with / work with on her next album.

Sofia Reyes Doesn't Want To Limit Her Creativity

Partnering or working with a brand, a person, or whoever has to feel right within or the collaboration may not pan out the way you would hope.

Reyes tells us partnering with Tostitos "felt right" and "authentic" to what she represents.

"It made sense," she shared.

"When it comes to partnering up with a brand or collaborating with an artist, it's important that it feels right and authentic to myself. I've been eating Tostitos all my life. It's been part of my life since I was born. I love the campaign and I loved the commercial. It's super fun."

She also shares how she put her director's hat on during the shoot as well.

"I was saying little things here and there," she laughs.

"Being behind the camera is definitely an interest to me. There are many things I want to do. I want to direct two movies and I have two ideas already in my mind. I would like to direct music videos, too, as I have great ideas. I want to try. Danny Trejo inspired me because not only is he a great actor — he has his donut shop and his restaurant. He came and gave me an album where you also hear him singing one of the songs. As a creator, we shouldn't limit ourselves. I have many ideas and dreams I want to accomplish."

Sofia Reyes Says Working With Danny Trejo Was "Perfect"

To be in a room with Danny Trejo and soak up his knowledge and wisdom is a privilege we all should take advantage of if we're given the opportunity.

Reyes shares that collaborating with Trejo on the campaign was "perfect."

"When Tostitos told me I would be working with Danny Trejo, I said this couldn't be more perfect," she expressed.

"I've been wanting to work with him for years. He's super fun on set. He's super chill and owns himself. He's hilarious and you can tell he enjoys being on set. He's also very loving. We were able to chat about his life and he told me something very beautiful. When you do things with love and God on your side, everything comes out perfectly. When you do things to serve others and other people, life works out. I loved him and I enjoyed working with Danny."

Sofia Reyes Reveals Artists Who Is A Must On Her Party Playlist

There's no great party without great food and great music.

Reyes tells us her go-to chip style and dipping sauce from the brand in addition to artists like Dua Lipa and Bad Bunny as must-haves on the party playlist.

"So, my favorite Tostitos is the salsa verde flavor," she says.

"As a Mexican, we top it off with lime and a few other sauces over the chips. We also love the queso sauce as well. Now, for a party, besides my own music, I like Dua Lipa and Bad Bunny. He's killing it. Farruko as I'm a huge fan. I love Reggaeton and House music so that comes to my mind. I can mention more, but a huge list.

Sofia Reyes Shares Collaboration Wish List For Her Next Album

It's never too early to put your bid in and manifest what you would like to come true.

Reyes tells The Blast for her next album, she would love to have Coldplay member Chris Martin appear on her next project.

"On this next album, I have a very specific list due to the concept of the album," she began.

"I would love to collaborate with Chris Marton from Coldplay, John Mayer, and Dua Lipa. For my next album, I

want to explore collaborating with more Mexican artists. There are so many talented Mexican artists and I want to explore that."
