Katie Holmes Spotted Kissing Artist Bobby Wooten III, Sparks Dating Rumors

Since the 90s, the subject of Katie Holmes has always been a subject for public dissection. From her on-set romance with Joshua Jackson on "Dawson's Creek" to her sensationalized marriage to Tom Cruise, the number one Hollywood action star, to her secret romantic involvement and marriage with A-list actor Jamie Fox, her relationship history has always been an interesting one.

However, it'd appear that she has moved on from dating men in Hollywood since her last relationship with chef Emilio Vitolo whom she split from in the early months of 2021.

While she's since been away from the public glare, she was recently spotted kissing musician Bobby Wooten III in New York City.

Per pictures exclusively obtained by People, Katie Holmes was photographed kissing musician Bobby Wooten III in New York City. 

They also held hands and enjoyed a drink during their casual stroll. While Holmes donned casual white overalls paired with a white shirt, finishing her look with white sneakers and sunglasses. On the other hand, Bobby wore a gray buttoned shirt, white sneakers, dark blue pants, a blue jacket, and shades.

It'd appear that things have gotten a bit serious between the duo as a series of pictures obtained by the same outlet show Holmes and Bobby with her mom Kathy Holmes. She was also spotted hugging Bobby. The pair also took the subway and visited the Guggenheim Museum and Central Park.

"He's an amazing guy, very kind, super talented and just an all-around cool guy," an insider spoke to People about Bobby. "He's a highly accomplished bassist and musician and is as chill and brilliant and funny as they come," the insider concluded. 

However, representatives for both Holmes and Bobby didn't respond to the publication's response for comments.

The "CODA" actress most recently was romantically involved with Vitolo, but the pair called it quits in May 2021, after nearly a year together.

At the time, an insider opened up to ET and explained the reason for the couple's split.

"Before she left, they were inseparable, but their relationship was existing in a bubble. However, due to the pandemic, she wasn't jet setting around the country for jobs and he wasn't tied up every night working at his family's restaurant [Emilio's Ballato in NYC]," the source said. "His usually very busy social life was non-existent, and so they had all the time in the world for each other." 

However, once life started to return to default and quarantine protocols began to lift, the pair realized that they weren't compatible with each other.

Despite this, the insider claimed that they are amicable and are on good terms with each other. "Katie has been supportive of Emilio's plans to pursue more acting jobs, something that took a backseat to focus on the restaurant."

This is, however, evident from the virtual support they gave each other. A month after their split, Holmes took to her Instagram to laud Vitolo's short film, "Almost A Year," which was slated to appear at the Tribeca Film Festival.

"I am so honored to have been a part of the making of ALMOST A YEAR. Congratulations to the very talented and amazing cast @eveclindley @emiliovitolo @lilmitz_ and director @jamiesonbake," she captioned, adding an image of Vitolo in character and concluding with a couple of champagne bottles and star emojis.

The chef also shared an image from the movie to his account, posting, "Soo honored and proud to be a part of this Film. Cast and crew A1. Soo much love went into this. Can't wait for you all to see this."

The actress, however, commented on his post with praise hands emojis.

Following the split with restauranteur Vitolo, an inside source spoke to E! News on how the actress has put her love life on the back burner, and getting back on the dating scene wasn't a "huge priority" for her.

Instead, she is focusing on her upcoming projects and raising her 15-year-old daughter, whom she shares with her ex, Tom Cruise.

However, she's not discarding the option altogether. The insider explained that she's simply going with the flow in terms of romantic relationships, stating that "if it happens, it happens. If not, that's OK, too."

While appearing in a 2017 interview with Town and Country, the actress shared that her daughter takes top priority over everything else, and she was very involved in her upbringing.

"My child is the most important person to me, and her upbringing is paramount to my work right now," she told the magazine. "I feel so blessed to do what I do, but there's nothing in the world better than watching your child succeed."
