In 2004, Ashlee Simpson burst into the scene with her MTV reality show, “The Ashley Simpson Show,” and “Autobiography,” a triple platinum-debut album. Simpson is married to Evan Ross, son of legendary singer Diana Ross.
Ross, like his wife, is also an actor and a musician. The couple has been married for eight years and shares two children together. In a recent interview, they spoke on the possibility of having more kids and expanding their beautiful family.

‘I Think We Are Done’
During an interview with E! News about their intention to expand their family unit, Simpson responded, “I think we are done,” while Ross retorted with, “We’ll see.”
Simpson continued, “He is ready for more! I do love being pregnant and being a mother, but I will let you know if I change my mind.”
Before this, the pair welcomed their second child in January 2021. The baby, Ziggy Blu Ross, came six years after their first daughter, Jagger Ross. Simpson is also mom to 13-year-old Bronx Wentz, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Pete Wentz.
As reported by Simpson, Ziggy is over a year old and has begun to say “jibby jabber and other cute things.”
“He says Ross and Jagger,” Simpson added.

While everyone was happy about the birth of Ziggy, older sister Jagger didn’t take kindly to the news that the baby was a boy.
“Well, she loves the baby but when she found out it was a boy, at first, she was super, super mad,” Evan recalled on SiriusXM’s “The Jess Cagle Show.” “She was furious. We did a gender reveal with the whole family on Zoom and I could see her like, on my side and it was like, she broke down, she was like [bends over], ‘It’s a boy.’ [She] was like, so upset.”
He later mentioned that she loved her younger sibling now, adding that she kissed him “once in every five seconds.”
Their Secret To Keeping The Romance Alive Despite Having Kids
In 2021, the celebrity couple joined the “Drew Barrymore Show,” where they dished out secrets to keeping things spicy in their marriage despite their kids in the picture.
At the time, the audience could send their messages to the show and have them answered by either pair.
“This is from Emily from Wisconsin,” the host began. “She writes, ‘We are new parents and exhausted! We feel like there is no more room for romance. What can we do to not lose the spark?'”
“That’s a good question,” Simpson. “I feel like we are constantly on right now, right?”
She continued, “Because there’s like 5, 12 and a baby and you’re changing diapers all day and whatnot, but I think for us, I mean you are really good at it too, you are like, ‘It’s the middle of the day, baby’s asleep. You know try to get in.'”
Her husband also added that the romance didn’t always have to be at night. “Whenever you know? Find the time.”
Simpson & Ross Had A Reality Show Which Spanned For Six Episodes
While they had a TV show, “Ashlee+Evan,” this did not go on for so long. The actress told Us Weekly that she eventually had to pull out due to her kids. “We did not want to have our kids on TV for too long.”
Before this, she initially told Rolling Stone that her kids inspired the reality TV series.
Following the short run of six episodes, the pair moved on from the reality show and focused on their separate endeavors.
Simpson Enjoys Co-Parenting With Ex-Husband, Pete Wentz
In a 2015 interview on the “Sirius XM” radio show, ex-husband Wentz hoped that his marriage to Simpson would last forever. However, this didn’t happen as he neglected his marriage after his band hit a hiatus. As a result, he suffered depression, and his marriage took a fall for it.
Though he was angry that Simpson left him in the lurch during one of his lowest moments, they ultimately agreed to file for a divorce.
However, in 2018, Simpson opened up to Us Weekly.
that she “lucked out” with Wentz regarding co-parenting her first son.
Even her current husband, Ross, admitted that his wife and her ex-husband are “close friends.”
