On Wednesday, April 27, Cooper updated his personal Instagram page with a carousel of photos to commemorate Wyatt's second year around the sun.

One of the slides included an unseen image of the TV personality and his ex Benjamin Maisani with the kids. The former lovers sat on a grassy spot and posed for a selfie with the boys.

Other images showed Wyatt looking too cute for words. The proud father's birthday tribute to his son was even more heart-melting than the pictures. He gushed:

"Wyatt is two years old today! It is hard to believe. He is sweet and funny, kind and caring. Your Papa and brother and I love you sooooo much!"

The "Dispatches From The Edge" author also explained the parenting structure of his kids with his ex, saying:

"Wyatt and Sebastian are being raised by my best friend and former partner, Benjamin Maisani. We're co-parents. Wyatt calls me 'daddy' and Benjamin 'papa.' We're a family."

The "New Year's Eve Live" alum revealed that Wyatt has a severe crush on Ripa's 20-year-old daughter Lola Consuelos.

While appearing on an episode of "Live With Kelly and Ryan," Cooper explained, "My son Wyatt is so deeply in love with Lola Consuelos that it's like, the love that burns of 1,000 suns."

The journalist shared heartwarming pictures of Wyatt full of smiles and staring at Lola with love while in her arms. Cooper said his son is "just so besotted. He could not take his eyes off Lola."

Ripa confirmed that the love between her daughter and the toddler is mutual. She then recounted a jealous moment between Wyatt and his younger brother, saying:

"He [Wyatt] grabbed Lola's hand because she came in to see the baby [Sebastian]. He was done with the fawning over the baby, so he grabbed Lola's hand. And I said, 'Wyatt, where are you going?' And he said, 'Bye!'"

Wyatt's jealousy and other aspects of navigating life with a new sibling are Cooper's priorities, and he found an exciting way to help his son adjust.

The Blast shared that the American broadcast journalist appeared on an April 6 episode of “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” and spoke on how he makes his sons bond.

Cooper was worried about Wyatt’s ability to adjust to 8-weeks-old Sebastian in the house, as his late older brother Carter Vanderbilt struggled to adapt to his presence growing up. He recounted:

"When I came, my brother was like two years and four months older, and every childhood photo I have is I’m very happy as a little baby, and my brother is chewing the inside of his lip."

To avoid a repeat with his kids, "The Rainbow Comes and Goes" author began slowly introducing Sebastian into his older brother’s personal space. He explained:

"I’m doing a slow roll with Sebastian.  I didn’t want Wyatt’s life to suddenly cataclysmically change… Wyatt’s not on top of him every day. We go out a lot and stuff."

The 18-time Emmy Award winner also introduced a unique concept where Wyatt makes fun of Sebastian, such as when the baby is crying.

Cooper's parenting method is not enabling his first son to become a bully. He clarified that his tactic of making fun of Sebastian would cease before he got older.
