When it comes to iconic celebrity couples, Ciara and Russell Wilson are on the list for frequently serving couple goals while working as a well-rounded team for their adorable children.

During an interview with Drew + Jonathan Reveal, the pair opened up about spending quality time with their kids through a unique family tradition.

For the Grammy award-winning singer and the NFL star, whose days are typically filled with work, nighttime was the best moment to bond with their children.

This is why the A-list couple prioritizes nurturing their kids through bedtime stories; a heartwarming tradition passed down from their own parents.

"I grew up with parents who read to me all the time," the Denver Broncos quarterback revealed, "They believed in the importance of education and viewed reading as a direct source of growth."

The 33-year-old athlete explained that this daily ritual from his childhood inspired him to carry the practice into his family as it encouraged bonding. In the Ohio native's words,

One of the biggest traditions they passed down is reading before bed—and it’s something Ciara and I have prioritized with our own kids. It’s a great opportunity for us to bond and grow as a family.

On the other hand, the "Level Up" artist's childhood did not come with daily bedtime stories. Nonetheless, the mother-of-three cherished these moments.

"I wasn’t necessarily read to as routinely growing up," the Texas native said, "but I remember moments of my dad reading to me before bed, and it was something I looked forward to."

The Billboard chart-topper explained that the lovebirds took turns to read to each of their wards in their respective rooms so that the parents could enjoy a one-on-one moment with their kids.

Ciara shares son Future Zahir Wilburn with the rapper Future, while she has daughter Sienna Princess and baby boy Win Harrison with the Bart Starr Award winner.

While talking about the dynamic duo's reading techniques, the "Like A Boy" songstress could not help but gush about her husband.

The 36-year-old said, "We’re both expressive readers! It’s always so cute when Russ pulls out his dramatic reading skills. We love making it a fun experience."

The BET award-winner seconded her spouse's beliefs on bedtime reading being a "bonding moment," adding that she valued the routine because it helped shape their children’s imagination.

"I love the experience of watching my kids’ curiosity and imagination working in real time," she stated, "We all live busy lives, so it’s important to take those quiet moments."

The doting parents' educational goal did not end with their offspring, as the Super Bowl XLVIII Champion confessed that the couple created the Why Not You Foundation (WNYF) to nurture the minds of the younger generation.

"We’re working to fight poverty through education and supporting access to equal education opportunities, children’s health, and food security initiatives," the former Seattle Seahawks quarterback disclosed.

Last September, the R&B Queen and the NFL star achieved an impressive milestone in their efforts to provide free education by establishing the Why Not You Academy.

According to the NFL Top 100 ranker, this institution would serve as a "free charter public high school" for underprivileged students in the south of Seattle.

In honor of 2022's Easter Egg Roll event, the Wilsons donned their best formal attire to join President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill in their luxurious home.

Taking to Instagram, the ACC Offensive Rookie of the Year Award winner gave fans a glimpse at the festivities by sharing a video of their family-friendly football match.

In the clip, the Wilsons took off their shoes for the match, held in the lush green yard in front of the Presidential estate.

In a second post, the NFL quarterback shared pictures of the family posing in front of the Easter Bunny decorated White House, while another snap showed the Wilsons with three Easter bunny mascots.
