Only two days after his Twitter bid was accepted, Musk seemed to have his eyes on his next purchase: Coca-Cola.
“Next I’m buying Coca-Cola to put the cocaine back in,” Musk tweeted late Wednesday night.
One user responded with a photo of the first publicly-sold bottle back in 1894. The product was said to have contained 3.5 grams of cocaine. “Bring it back,” they wrote.

Monster Energy seemed to make a bid for Musk’s attention, commenting, “Who wants ‘wiiings’ when you can #UnleashTheBeast!? And since you’re $44B light, have a case or ten on us. We’ll throw in a fridge to keep ‘em cold!”
One user asked, “Why are you trying to give a billionaire free stuff?”
Dogecoin Co-Creator Wants Elon Musk To Buy 'Firefly'
Some sci-fi that actually features sci-fi would be great
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) April 28, 2022
The co-creator of Dogecoin, Billy Markus, uses the Twitter name “Shibetoshi Nakamoto” in reference to Satoshi Nakamoto, the pseudonym used by the inventors of Bitcoin. He tweeted, “Can you buy fox I want another season of ‘firefly.’”
The series became a cult classic when it was launched in 2002, but it was canceled after only one season. Musk replied, “Some sci-fi that actually features sci-fi would be great.”

The SpaceX founder also shared what looked to be an altered photo on Twitter that read, “Now I'm going to buy McDonald's and fix all of the ice cream machines…”
“Listen, I can't do miracles ok,” Musk responded.
Author and philosophy professor Edip Yüksel had one of the most interesting comments, writing, “Well you can't buy time, Elon. You will die like everyone, and go to your Lord. Life on this planet is way too short. Your money, wealth, Tesla, Twitter, and your followers will not buy you even a foot square in Heaven. So, be good; promote monotheism, freedom, peace, justice!”

Let’s make Twitter maximum fun!
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) April 28, 2022
Early Thursday morning, Musk tweeted, "Let's make Twitter maximum fun!" However, not everyone was all for it.
Twitter isn't meant to be fun, it's a powerful communication tool used for increasing visibility especially on political issues & global challenges; This is one major reason why the platform thrives. Anyone seeking to have fun should sw!tch to TikTok, Instagram & the likes of it.

"Now that you own twitter people are leaving in mass, I speak for everyone when I say you’ve ruined the site," another user added.
It remains to be seen if people are actually deleting their Twitter accounts, but "Star Wars" alum Mark Hamill recently tweeted that he lost 8,000 followers on Monday after news of Musk's acquisition was announced.
