Actor BillMurray has been accused of “inappropriate conduct” on the set of “Being Mortal.”
As The Blast previously reported, the film was supposed to star Murray, AzizAnsari, and SethRogen. This was supposed to be Ansari’s directorial debut, which he was also starring in, writing, and producing.

Sources Say That Bill Murray Made Women On Set Uncomfortable
Murray, 71, has been accused of “inappropriate behavior” on set. A source told Page Six that the “Ghostbusters” actor was “very hands-on touchy, not in any personal areas, but put an arm around a woman, touched her hair, pulled her ponytail — but always in a comedic way.”
They added, “It is a fine line and everybody loves Bill, but while his conduct is not illegal, some women felt uncomfortable and he crossed a line.”
Another source told the outlet that the “Caddyshack” actor – who is currently single – “Loves women and loves to flirt. He enjoyed poetry and romance. He’s always flirting, but it is always couched in comedy. It isn’t clear if he crossed a line.”
However, Richard Dreyfuss’ son, Ben, dropped a major allegation against Murray on Thursday night.
Were Bodyguards Hired To Protect Cast & Crew From Bill Murray?

Ben Dreyfuss, 35, dropped a surprising allegation about Murray on the set of Richard Dreyfuss’ 1991 comedy, “What About Bob?” He claimed that Walt Disney Co. was forced to hire bodyguards to protect the cast and crew from Murray. He described a specific allegation that involved late producer Laura Ziskin.
On Thursday, April 21, he tweeted, “Bill Murray had a meltdown during what about bob because he wanted an extra day off and Laura said no and ripped off her glasses off her face and my dad complained about his behavior and Bill Murray threw an ashtray at him.”

Bill Murray Ashtray Incident Was Previously Discussed In 2009
The outlet reported that Richard Dreyfuss had discussed the ashtray incident as far back as 2009, calling Murray a “drunken bully.”
“He put his face next to me, nose-to-nose, and he screamed at the top of his lungs, ‘Everyone hates you! You are tolerated!’” Dreyfuss said over ten years ago.
“There was no time to react because he leaned back and he took a modern glass-blown ashtray, he threw it at my face from [only a couple of feet away],” he explained. “And it weighed about three-quarters of a pound. And he missed me. He tried to hit me. I got up and left.”
“Being Mortal” is currently scheduled for a 2023 release date. Production has been halted while the investigation continues; it is not clear if it will delay the release of the film, or if Murray’s role will be recast.
