Vin Diesel is all about family!
The Hollywood icon, who has established himself as one of the world’s highest-grossing actors, recently penned an emotional post about the “Fast & Furious” franchise.
On Wednesday, April 20, the 54-year-old California native opened up about his co-stars and how they became an important part of his family.
Vin Diesel Reflects On The “Fast & Furious” Franchise In A Touching Post

Taking to Instagram, Diesel who plays the character Dominic Toretto in the “Fast & Furious” series took a walk down memory, reflecting on how the franchise had changed his life.
The father-of-three shared a blurry picture of himself sharing a warm embrace with the actress Jordana Brewster and the late actor Paul Walker.
Brewster played Dominic’s sister Mia in the action-packed series while the deceased entertainer served as Brian O’Conner, the supporting male lead until his tragic death in 2013.
Although Walker died in reality, his character lived on in the franchise thanks to the efforts of his on-screen family, especially Diesel, who extended the same courtesy to Brewster.
In the lengthy caption, the “Riddick” star revealed that the writers of “F10,” the series finale, excluded Mia’s name from the script. The Hollywood veteran wrote:
“Yes, Your opinion has always mattered. When the F10 script came in, it excluded Mia Toretto…. Someone whom I’ve attributed the brotherhood of Dom and Brian too.”
“I was so disappointed that I couldn’t see how I could continue,” the 54-year-old continued, “After all, I wasn’t going to make another Fast unless Brian was back in Four.”
Although the California native did not know how to save his on-screen sister, one of his daughters, either Hania or Pauline, had the guts to fight on Brewster’s behalf. The “Bloodshot” actor wrote:
“Side note, you will never believe who corrected the very important role of Mia… my daughter, the Alpha Angel, who told the director very plainly and honestly “NO MIA NO FAST 10!”

Coincidentally, on the day his daughter was born, the One Race Films founder had been shooting with the “All My Children” actress and Walker but shared the news with Brewster before his longtime collaborator.
Getting emotional, “The Chronicles of Riddick” star confessed that not a day went by where he did not wish to travel back in time to stop his friend’s unfortunate accident.
However, the People’s Choice Award winner emphasized that every “Fast & Furious” movie he made honored the late actor, stating that their bond extended beyond the big screen.
“In the real world, I will always look after his family, because in the real world he is family,” Diesel wrote, recalling the heartfelt moment Walker’s daughter asked him to walk her down the aisle.
The “Pitch Black” star also hinted that Brian may appear in the highly-anticipated franchise finale, stating that the actor’s mother requested her son’s return to the screen.
According to the MTV Movie Award winner, “Fast could never have been here without Dom and Brian’s profound love and brotherhood,” which the dynamic duo brought to life in 2001.
“The Last Witch Hunter” star concluded his passionate message by declaring he would not rest until he made Walker, their co-stars, and the entire universe proud.

The Blast previously reported that the “Fast & Furious” Family had grown bigger as Marvel star Brie Larson joined the franchise for its final showdown.
Diesel broke the news on Instagram by sharing a selfie with the actress, where the pair were laughing their heads off as Larson leaned on the actor’s shoulder for support.
The “A Man Apart” star tagged this sweet image with a loving welcome message for the “Avengers: Endgame” actress that read,
“Yeah yeah yeah… you see this angel over my shoulder cracking me up, you say to yourself ‘that’s Captain Marvel.’ Clearly, there is love and laughter in this image.”
“What you don’t see, however, is the character you will be introduced to in Fast10,” he continued, “you have no idea how timeless and amazing she will be in our mythology.”
The 54-year-old then praised the Oscar winner for being a beautiful, intelligent, and “profound soul” that would add the unexpected things fans did not know they yearned for in “F10.”
