Although she did not mention Depp by name, he claims that he has lost movie roles due to the “clear implication” that he was the “Aquaman” actress’ abuser. On Tuesday, April 19, Depp began his testimony, where he talked about the childhood abuse he suffered, his drug addiction, and the overwhelming fame that he experienced following his starring role as Captain Jack Sparrow.

His testimony from Tuesday can be found here. He was still being questioned by his own lawyers when Judge Penney Azcarate dismissed the jury at 5 PM ET. His testimony from Wednesday, April 20, can be read below.

On Wednesday, Depp began his testimony around 10 AM by claiming that Heard insisted that he was always wrong, about everything, but that she was never wrong.

Depp testified that Heard began by "Demeaning, name-calling ... to be made a fool of, and those would escalate into a full-scale argument, and, in the beginning, as one does, one sticks up for oneself."

He called their "debates" and "arguments" a "rapid-fire parade of insults."

Depp testified that when there were fights Heard would not allow him to leave and he alleges that he locked himself in the bathroom. He said that she would escalate the fight with a slap, or by throwing a TV remote or throwing a glass of wine at him.

"Too many lines were crossed," he said, adding that Heard had threatened to "weaponize" private information that he had told her in confidence against him.

Depp Alleges That Amber Heard Told Him That He Was A 'Bad Father'

The "Fantastic Beasts" actor alleges that Heard told him that he was a bad father. He also claimed that Heard did not "allow" him to see his kids because wanted him with her "for her own needs."

"That I was not prepared to take," he said, referring to when Heard said he was an "awful" father. "One can only take so much of that," Depp told the jury.

Depp said "my main goal was to retreat" when she made those comments, referring to them as "high school tactics."

When asked when he stayed with Ms. Heard, he said it was "complicated," then added, "I stayed through all that... I'm sure it's somehow related to my father remaining stoic as my mother would beat him to death."

Although he referred to her as an "opponent," Depp said he stayed because "he didn't want to break [Heard's] heart." He then recalled his mother tried to commit suicide several times and mentioned one time in particular that it happened after his father left her.

Depp said that he would occasionally "escape" from Heard despite "crying" at the elevator saying, "I'm going to die." He said she would be "screaming to high heavens" outside his house at "3 or 4 in the morning." He called the situation "ludicrous."

The "Into The Wood" actor claims that Heard would use "demeaning" "jabs" to "make me feel small." He alleges that he told Heard that he would record conservations so he could play them back to her later. He claims to Heard would "deny things she said directly to my face in a heated and volatile way."

Depp told the jury "it was clear she was performing for the tape" which he said was "another clue" that the situation was "rotten."

When asked how her alleged behavior reflected his drug use, Depp claimed that he had to book an extra room on press tours and while filming movies so he would have somewhere he could "escape to."

Depp told the jury that his drug use reflected his relationship with his mother growing up and made him "more inspired to reach out for a numbing agent."

He said he had to "have something to maintain me" throughout Heard's "verbal attacks."

Although he admitted that Heard asked him to cut down on his drinking, he said that he mostly only drank wine with her and said he has a "pretty high tolerance" for alcohol.

When asked how often Heard drank in his presence, Depp immediately replied, "Always." He also claimed that she used MGMA (ecstasy) and mushrooms.

Johnny Depp Claims He Never Struck Amber Heard

Johnny Depp - Amber Heard Trial

Earlier in the trial, the court heard the claim that Depp first struck Heard after she made fun of his tattoo. Depp denied that incident ever happened and repeated what he said yesterday, that he had never struck any woman.

"That allegation never made any sense to me," he added.

In May 2014, Depp was filming "Black Mass" in Boston. Depp described the detailed process of applying prosthetics for the role, taking three hours to put on and one hour to take off. He says this resulted in him working 16 to 17-hour days.

At the time, he was detoxing from "opioids" under the recommendation of his sister. While they were on the plane, Depp claimed that Heard would "poke and prod psychologically" so he took a pillow and went to sleep on the bathroom floor for the rest of the flight. He claims that he had no recollection of imbibing any alcohol before the flight, although he admitted it was possible. However, he did confess to taking two oxycodones and said that "alcohol was not necessary."

When he decided to get clean, he went to a private island away from the paparazzi. Although he said his sister was supposed to accompany him, he claimed that Heard "insisted" on going with him instead. Depp claimed that Heard would not give him the medications he needed when he needed them and expressed a desire to leave the island. After they returned to Los Angeles, Depp asked for privacy to finish his detox. He said "reluctantly," Heard gave him the time, although she accused him of "throwing her out" and "abandoning her."

Although the video froze for a considerable length of time, when Depp returned, he was recalling how he thought it felt "wrong" when Heard complained that she "was not in [his] will."

When asked about how his finger became injured, Depp claims that he was sitting on the bathroom floor with Heard "screaming" and "banging" on the door. After later going down to the bar, Depp claimed that Heard flung bottles at him. He says the large bottle "made contact and shattered everywhere."

He said he "didn't feel the pain at first." He said he felt pain in his hand and realized that the tip of his finger had been "severed." Depp recalled looking "directly at my bone, sticking out" and described the incident in graphic detail.

He said he started to write in his own blood on the walls "little reminders from our past that essentially represented lies that she had told me, lies that I had caught her in."

"Amongst all the madness, I would again hide in a bathroom or wherever and I texted Dr. Kipper and I said, 'You might want to come over,'" he alleged. He said it was the middle finger and held up his finger for the jury, saying his finger "looked like Vesuvius" and saying that all his bones were "crushed."

He said he did not recall what Heard say to him but he recalled "insults" and "jumbled words" in his "state of shock." He says that he received medical attention but "lied" to the doctor and said that he "smashed" his finger and it got stuck in between two doors.

When asked why he lied, Depp said that he lied "because I didn't want to disclose that it was... I didn't want to disclose that it had been Ms. Heard." He told the jury that he "didn't want to get her in trouble" and that he "didn't want to put her name in that mix."

When showed a photograph of him in the emergency room, Depp claimed that it was caused by Ms. Heard after she allegedly took a photograph and "stomped it out" on his face.

The violent allegations described by Depp after the lunch break are continued here.
