David Beckham Shares Sweet Birthday Tribute To Wife Victoria

David Beckham showed the world that he is still head over heels with his beautiful wife of over two decades, Victoria Beckham.

The retired football legend recently celebrated his wife's birthday along with their sons, Brooklyn, 23, Romeo, 19, and Cruz, 17.

The loving husband took to social media with a touching photo of him and his spouse and an even sweeter tribute about her qualities as a wife, mother, and business mogul.

The ageless and stunning Victoria clocked 48 on Sunday, April 17, and her doting spouse ensured to commemorate the occasion with a sweet post.

David updated his personal Instagram page with a cozy nighttime image of him and his wife standing on a beach and cuddling each other near a firelight.

The "King Arthur: Legend of The Sword" actor and his wife turned up the heat with a kiss. He amped up the romance with an even sweeter caption, writing:

"Happy Birthday to the most amazing wife , mummy & Business woman [red heart emoji] Have the most amazing day because you deserve to x We all love you so much [red heart emoji] @victoriabeckham @brooklynpeltzbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven [red heart emoji]."

The Beckham sons did not let their father steal the spotlight and made sure to make their mother feel special on her 48th celebration of life.

The couple's eldest child, Brooklyn, who recently tied the knot with Nicola Peltz, uploaded an image of him and his matriarch dancing to herald the occasion via his Instagram Story.

The second-born, Romeo, shared a happy photo of him and his parents enjoying a cozy dinner together. He gushed, "Happy birthday to the best mum in the world love u so much @victoriabeckham."

Cruz walked down memory lane with a throwback Instagram image of him as a toddler, rocking a blonde bob with his mouth open while Victoria held him. He gushed, "U da best mum, I love you, happy birthday."

David and Victoria are one of Hollywood's most unproblematic couples who have survived over twenty years of marriage with three sons and a daughter, Harper, age 10.

US Magazine delved into the couple's relationship timeline, which began with an introduction worthy of a romantic movie. They first met while attending a charity football match at the lounge for Manchester United players.

The outlet noted that Victoria recounted meeting her partner in a letter to herself for British Vogue in September 2016. She wrote:

"Love at first sight does exist. It will happen to you in the Manchester United players' lounge – although you will get a little drunk, so exact details are hazy. While the other football players stand at the bar drinking with their mates, you will see David standing aside with his family. (He's not even in the first team at this stage – you are the famous one.)" 

The "Spice Girls" alum continued that David has a cute smile and feels familiar to her. He would then ask for her number on a London-to-Manchester plane ticket, which he still possesses.

"The Class of '92" star also recounted meeting his wife in an interview with the Sun. He said:

"My wife picked me out of a soccer sticker book. And I chose her off the telly. It felt straight away like we'd always been meant to be together."

On January 25, 1998, the lovebirds, who had been dating for about a year, broke the news of their engagement to the public.

On March 4, the following year, the couple welcomed their first child Brooklyn Joseph Beckham at London's Portland Hospital.

On July 4, 1999, the parents walked down the aisle at the prestigious Luttrellstown Castle near Dublin. 

Victoria sported an iconic strapless Vera Wang gown with a train that was twenty feet long. She completed the look with an 18-karat gold tiara while the groom rocked an all-white tux.

On September 1, 2002, the husband and wife welcomed their second son Romeo James Beckham via C-Section at the same Portland hospital.

David gushed to reporters waiting outside the building about his newborn's resemblance to his family. He said, "He [Romeo] looks like Brooklyn. He's got Brooklyn's nose and Victoria's chin.

On February 20, 2005, the Beckhams welcomed their third son, Cruz. The spouses then heralded their first daughter and last child Harper Seven on July 10, 2011, and marked their 22nd anniversary in July 2021.
