DaBaby's shooting incident occurred only a week after he made headlines over a controversial video where he appeared to be trying to force a kiss on a female fan.

The Blast disclosed that the "Baby Talk 5" rapper faced severe backlash from internet users over the clip, which showed him looking tipsy while approaching a crowd of excited fans outside a venue.

While taking pictures with the ecstatic group, DaBaby suddenly grabbed a woman's head and tried to pull her in for a kiss.

The lady looked uninterested and turned away from the rapper, swerving from his mouth while he continued trying to lock lips.

A fan took the video in February, according to reports, but it went viral this month, causing immense outrage from netizens for his "harassment."

An internet user commented, "He’s out of control ALL THE TIME. Like why he acting like that?” another added, “Reason 729 why I stopped listening to him, he thinks he can get whatever and he can not!"

Despite the visibly questionable nature of his actions in the circulating video, DaBaby seemed unfazed and denied doing anything that was not acceptable to the fan.

The 30-year-old posted the controversial clip to his Instagram Story, writing that it was  “cap a** s**t." He then asked who was attempting to paint him in a bad light with such content.

DaBaby uploaded another video of him and a female fan who appeared excited to lock lips with him, hinting that that was the lady in question.
