The past has come back for Floyd Mayweather's daughter Iyanna who recently pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated assault using a deadly weapon.

The incident occurred back in 2020 when the former girlfriend of rapper NBA YoungBoy stabbed one of his baby mamas Lapattra Lashai Jacobs with a kitchen knife.

The assaulter in question has now accepted all charges against her and is facing six years' worth of charges which may be reduced if she displays signs of good behavior.

On Wednesday, April 13, Iyanna owned up to her charges of aggravated assault with the aid of a deadly weapon at a Houston court, according to ET.

The daughter of The Money Team founder is facing a whopping six years worth of probation for her crime, which may include restitution, community service, or both.

Ahead of Iyanna's next court hearing scheduled for June 16, her attorney, Kent Schaffer, told the outlet they had resolved the case between her and the State.

Schaffer noted that his client will not be convicted for any felonies and can have her probation lessened. He explained:

"The agreement calls for Iyanna to be on deferred adjudication for a period of 6 years, after which she will have no felony conviction, and the case will be dismissed. She is eligible to have the deferred adjudication end after two years pending her good behavior."

A representative of the Constable's Office for the fourth Harris County Precinct told the publication they arrested Iyanna in April 2020.

The altercation took place in YoungBoy's Houston residence on a Saturday morning at 1 a.m. local time. Authorities then took the former professional boxer's daughter to the state's Harris County Jail.

The victim, Jacobs, received multiple lacerations to her arm. Paramedics transported her to a hospital via ambulance. She underwent surgery, but her injuries were not life-threatening.

Iyanna allegedly confronted Jacobs at YoungBoy's home, where she introduced herself to them as his fiancée before stabbing the victim with two kitchen knives.

The Blast retrieved court documents showing that Iyanna was 19 at the time of her arrest. Authorities later released her on a $30,000 bond.

Reports began surfacing that the mother-of-one could face 20 years of imprisonment over the stabbing incident.

Schaffer, who is regarded as one of the best lawyers in the state, took on her representation. He has taken care of clients including J. Prince, Pimp C, Chace Crawford, and J. Prince.

"[Iyanna] unlawfully, intentionally and knowingly caused bodily injury to Lapattra Jacobs…by cutting (her) with a knife, and (she) used and exhibited a deadly weapon, namely a knife."

Floyd Mayweather Shares Thoughts on 20-Year-Old Daughter's Baby With NBA YoungBoy

At the start of 2021, Iyanna took to her Instagram Stories to announce she had given birth to a baby whose father is the "From The Bayou" rapper.

The Blast disclosed that the post included an image of the bouncing baby boy's foot, though she refrained from revealing his face to the public.

Following her soiled relationship with YoungBoy, Iyanna contemplated moving back in with her father, Floyd, who seems to have a positive relationship with his grandson.

The then 20-year-old's Story update included photos of the boxing promoter cuddling her baby. Although she never confirmed if she moved back in with him, the grandfather showed his support for her young childbirth.

In the fall of 2021, Floyd expressed his thoughts on his daughter being pregnant at her age in a candid interview with Hollywood Unlocked.

The 45-year-old explained that as long as Iyanna was no longer living under his roof, he no longer had to be critical of her personal choices and decisions.

Floyd noted that he always wants the best for his daughter, and he and her matriarch Melissa Rene Brim are unopposed in her doing what she pleases. He said:

"If that makes her happy, then we’re happy — I and her mother are happy. What I try not to do is be in her personal business because once she’s no longer under my roof, then you know what? it’s between her and her better half."
