Although celebrities lead different lives from ordinary people, one thing holds true: their belief in the supernatural. Like regular people, a lot of stars have claimed to have had supernatural experiences or other experiences which can’t be explained by facts and figures.
Whether it’s living in a haunted house, sleeping with a ghost, having an eerie feeling while on set, or just having the spirit of someone appear to them, a lot of celebrities have experienced it all.
Keanu Reeves, Miley Cyrus
Keanu Reeves once claimed that he saw a ghost as a child living in New York City. “There’s a doorway, and all of a sudden we’re looking over there, and this jacket comes waving through the doorway, just an empty jacket,” he said on the ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in 2014. “There’s no head, there’s no body, there are no legs, it’s just there. And then it disappears.”
Reeves added that he wasn’t afraid of the strange sight because he was so young. If anything, he thought it was cool. “I was a little kid, and I thought, ‘OK, that’s interesting,’ and then I looked over at the nanny, and she’s like this [mouth agape]. And I’m like, ‘Oh wow, so that was real.'”
In 2013, Miley Cyrus shared a creepy supernatural encounter with ElleUk. While she was on her music tour, she rented a haunted apartment. She, as well as her fiancé, her mother, and other people who went with her, had an encounter with a little boy in the apartment.
“I thought I had seen a little boy sitting on the sink watching me take a shower, so I felt really freaked out,” she said. “I was sitting there the next night, and maybe I’m crazy, but I could have sworn I could see this little boy sitting there on the sink kicking his feet.”
Vanessa Hudgens, Ryan Gosling
The “High School Musical” alum, Vanessa Hudgens, who is famously known for her singing and acting skills, recently opened up about another “gift” of hers: seeing and hearing things.
On “The Kelly Clarkson” show, she told the host that she’s had encounters with the paranormal over the years and has embraced the fact that she can “hear and see things.”
“I remember getting ready for school when I was eight years old, and there was, you know, those ducks that you pull? There was one of those on the dining room table, and I started walking, and it just started going alongside me,” Hudgens said. “I kind of shut it down for a while because it’s scary,” she continued. “The unknown is scary. But recently, I was like, ‘No, this is a gift and something that I have the ability to do, so I’m going to lean into it.’ “
Although Ryan Gosling doesn’t believe in the existence of ghosts, he had a bizarre story from his childhood to share. He mentioned that his family lived in a haunted house, and he was able to see the ghost who haunted the place.
“He just sat,” Gosling told Esquire. “And I knew from a very young age that he was a ghost, too. He scared me. I told my mother, but she couldn’t see him. Nobody could. And I learned to live with that.”
Lucy Liu, Demi Lovato
Lucy Liu‘s creepy and bizzare ghost encounter is one of the most spoken about paranormal encounters in Hollywood yet. In 1999, the actress spoke to Us Weekly that she had sex with a ghost!!
According to her, she was trying to get a nap when “some sort of spirit came down from God knows where and made love to me.”
She continued, “It was sheer bliss. I felt everything. And then he floated away.”
Demi Lovato has previously been vocal about their paranormal encounters, so it was unsurprising for them to feel a spiritual presence while they were on their show, “Unidentified with Demi Lovato.” However, the spiritual beings appeared only if Demi’s co-ghost hunters were not in the room. “She has trauma. That’s why she doesn’t like men,” they explained.
Kendall & Kylie Jenner
Although Kendall Jenner claimed not to have seen a ghost, she’d experienced things that had no logical and natural explanation.
Kendall said that while she and her sister, Kylie Jenner, lived with their mom, they could hear footsteps and falls even when nobody was home.
To make things creepier, there were a series of instances where the shower in her sister’s bedroom would turn on without human assistance!!
Unfortunately none of these moments were caught on camera, despite the duo being reality stars, but considering the crazier stories we have on here, this is a bit more on the tame side and easier to believe.
Maybe one day, we’ll get to see a spin-off show titled “The Kardashians: Paranormal Investigators” or “Kendall & Kylie: Ghost Hunters”, who knows? But in the meantime, you can catch the sisters and the rest of the family on their new Hulu show, “The Kardashians.”
