Ireland Baldwin Says Alec Baldwin's 7th Baby Is 'None Of My Business'

Earlier this week, Ireland Baldwin took to Instagram to pen a long message in response to body shaming and the media. The 26-year-old model is the daughter of “30 Rock” actor Alec Baldwin and 1989’s “Batman” actress Kim Basinger.
Earlier this month, Alec Baldwin’s current wife, Hilaria Baldwin, revealed that she was pregnant with the couple’s seventh child. Together, they are parents to daughters Carmen, 8, and María Lucía, 13 months, and sons Rafael, 6, Leonardo, 5, Romeo, 3, and Eduardo, 18 months.
Ireland is Baldwin’s daughter and the media has been pressing her for comment. However, Ireland says that Alec’s relationship with his wife and their new child on the way is none of her business.
Ireland Baldwin Calls Out People ‘Alarmingly Obsessed’ With Alec Baldwin & His Family
In the lengthy Instagram message, Baldwin wrote, “I get countless messages from people who are kind of alarmingly obsessed with my father and his family. I think a lot of people assume my take on any of this, well here it is for free — it’s none of my business.”
“To all the media outlets who have reached out for a quote – there’s your quote,” she continued. “I don’t care. My life is here in Oregon with my boyfriend, 6 dogs, and my new business. I smoke weed, I eat good food, and I mind MY own business.”
However, she did have kind words for her parents, saying that they “Have been very helpful in my life.” She added, “My mom has never gone a day without telling me how much she believes in me.”
“All that matters is I approve of me, and it feels d--- good,” she wrote. “I am so grateful and lucky to be where I am. Thank you to those who always send me support and kind words. To those that still have a negative opinion of me, stick around. You might see something you’ll like.”
Ireland Baldwin Confronts Body Shaming: ‘I Love My Body’
Ireland revealed that she had initially made the post after she read Camila Cabello’s post about body image, media, and mental health earlier this month. The “Bam Bam” singer described how distressing it was to go to the beach on a vacation day when paparazzi were treating it like a photo shoot.
“I am nowhere near as famous as Camilla, but I relate to every word of her post,” Ireland explained. “I have been called some version of fat, ugly, worthless, and irrelevant by grown adults on the Internet since I was a kid.”
She said that “I am a bad b—- and that I’m done taking s— from people on the Internet now, I know of course the heat will never cease to exist. I know the more I put myself out there the more people find reasons to pick me apart. But that’s OK!!”
She explained that “it’s hard putting myself on here sometimes because those same grown adults raised other little s—– adults to go about trolling the same way.” She criticized “women doing this to other women” and the “sad and pathetic” people who had nothing to do but criticize people online all day.
Ireland Baldwin Reflects On Her History Of Eating Disorders
The model has never been shy about discussing body image issues in the past and today was no exception.
“I have spent way too many years starving myself, binging, purging, measuring, stepping on scales, spitting food into my purse and all around ruining my body because some troll told me I’ll never be as thin and beautiful as my mother,” she wrote.
“I love my body. I love the way it moves. I love how I feel in it,” she continued. “Sure, I have my insecurities. I know a lot of you assume I am filled with lip filler, breast implants, and Botox but even though there’s absolutely nothing wrong with any of those things, I am not, but h—! All you had to do was ask!”
“I am a person in case you thought otherwise,” she added. “Words hurt no matter how much I pretend like they don’t. I know it’s best to stay at silent and sometimes let things fizzle out… ehhhh but I’m done doing that. I am also living by a newfound motto: stand up for yourself.”
