The storyline of "Sonic the Hedgehog 2" centers on Sonic's collaboration with his partner, Tails, on a journey across the globe to search for a magical emerald with devastating powers and prevent it from getting into the wrong hands.

Speaking of wrong hands, particularly that of Dr. Robotnik and his associate Knuckles. Jim Carrey starred as Robotnik, while Idris Elba was Knuckles.

Marsden remained the sheriff of Green Hills, Tom Wachowski, who was also a friend and quasi parent to Sonic.

More of the movie's video game features are said to have been included in the sequel, and the movie star promised fans that it was a thousand times cooler than its prequel.

"Some Easter eggs, some good stuff for the fans, introduce Sonic to a whole group of people who are maybe not that familiar with the game, as well. It’s a movie for everybody to check out. Your kids, as little as they are. Adults, as old as you are. It’s a fun adrenaline rush."

"Sonic the Hedgehog 2" seems to be a movie for all, and fans can watch it in a couple of days as it will be in theaters on April 8.

Marsden has no problem saying he is a "great dad," as he once stated being a father was self-fulfilling and was the one thing he was most proud of.

Closer Weekly detailed how parenthood came about for the artist following his marriage to Lisa in 2000. A year after their union, they had their first child, Jack, and four years later, they had Mary.

After the couple split in 2011, the "X-Men" actor dated Brazilian model Costa, and they welcomed his third child, William, in 2012.

According to Marsden, nothing could be compared to the joy he got with his children as he previously stated, "My kids got me wrapped!" while celebrating Father's Day in 2019.

The special day was his favorite holiday every year, and he was honored to be a father. He also never ceased to showcase his youngsters on social media while sharing sweet tributes with them.

Moving on to details of the "Westworld" icon's broods, the oldest one seems to have a future in showbiz already, while his younger siblings are yet to make a debut.

Like his father, Jack has started making moves in the entertainment industry. In 2017, he made his first appearance on the Golden Globes red carpet.

The 21-year-old is a singer and songwriter who is otherwise called Jack Holden. He also released his first album, "To the Planes," in 2020.

On the other hand, 16-year-old Mary is yet to make an entrance in the industry but has been seen a number of times with her family on the red carpet and her father's social media pages.

Marden's last-born William basks in his dad's attention as he still has several years ahead of him to decide if Hollywood is his chosen path.
