It looks like Kris Jenner is just as excited for Hulu to release their new series “The Kardashians” as much as everyone else.
The matriarch of the family recently sat down with host Ellen DeGeneres in one of the final episodes of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” to talk about the new Hulu series, which is set to debut on April 14. This will be the family’s first reality show since E!’s “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” ended last summer.
Kris Jenner Jokes That 98% Of 'The Kardashians' Is Just Travis & Kourtney Making Out!
The upcoming Hulu reality series will focus on the lives of Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner. Kris revealed that there will be no shortage of drama for fans in the upcoming series, starting with the premiere.
“Of course, the minute we start filming, a million things are happening,” she teased. “Kylie's having a baby, Kourtney is dating Travis Barker and gets engaged, Kim gets SNL. I mean, every single day there was either drama or something crazy going on.”
When Ellen joked about the PDA between Kourtney and Travis, Kris joked that the couple making out is “98% of the new show. Is that wrong?”
Kris added that their October engagement made her “so happy.”
Kourtney had previously told Variety that although she will be starring in the new show, her relationship with Travis won’t be a part of the main story.
“I definitely hold my relationship really close. It's so sacred to me and I am very protective of it. I think I've learned a lot of lessons,” Kourtney told the outlet last month. “There is a lot of us on there, and we've had such a good time doing it because we have such a good time when we're together, but I definitely want to protect it as much as I can. But also, this is my life.”
She added that Travis didn’t have a problem with the show “as long as we're happy with it.”
“He obviously has a full-time job and a full career, so it's not his thing, but I think he's happy to, and we have had so much fun while we've been filming certain things that we're doing, so I'll just invite the producers to come along,” she added.
Kris Jenner Wasn't Fooled By Those Marriage Rumors!
On Tuesday morning, the Internet was going crazy with rumors that Kourtney and Travis had actually tied the knot in a Las Vegas wedding after the Grammys last Sunday. Unfortunately, the rumors are not true. Although the couple did get married by an Elvis impersonator, the wedding was just for fun and was not legally binding.
The Blast independently confirmed that there is no marriage record on file for Kourtney or Travis. Coincidentally, there are two Travis Barkers that have been married in Nevada, but neither one is the Blink-182 drummer.
Travis first popped the question at a beachside hotel in Montecito, California, last year but the two never revealed when they plan to tie the knot. It makes sense that Kourtney would want to wait for the perfect day since this is her first wedding. Although she has three children with ex Scott Disick, the two never tied the knot. Kourtney's three children are Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7.
Travis has been married three times. He was married to his first wife, Melissa Kennedy, for nine months. They filed for divorce in 2002. In 2004, he married Shanna Moakler, but the pair filed for divorce in 2006. It wasn’t finalized until 2008. Travis shares two children with Shanna Moaker: Landon, 18, and Alabama, 16.
Even though they haven't tied the knot just yet, a trailer for Hulu’s “The Kardashians” series gave fans a glimpse of Kourtney and Travis heading to fertility clinics.
'The Kardashians' Hints At Kourtney & Travis' Journey Into Parenthood
In the trailer, Kourtney says “Travis and I want to have a baby” into the camera. In another shot, she lays on the bed while Travis holds her hands. In another scene, a doctor asks Kourtney to “put a sample in a cup.”
Believe it or not, this isn't the first time that Kourtney has talked about having a baby. In October 2021, she dressed up as Alabama, Patricia Arquette’s character from 1993’s “True Romance” for Halloween. Travis dressed up as Clarence, Christain Slater’s character. In the comments section of the post, he wrote, “Our son's name would be Elvis.”
Fans will just have to wait and see what happens when “The Kardashians” is finally available to stream on Hulu!
