Grammy-award-winning singer Lizzo, who's been working for years towards body positivity, just launched a brand of "radically different" shapewear and we are stoked. It's called Yitty and is named after a childhood nickname of Lizzo.

Lizzo's Instagram handle describes the line as "Shapewear you can wear Underwear, Overwear, Anywhere", and she's gone the whole hog, including getting a tattoo where the sun doesn't shine. But then again, this is Lizzo, so it just might shine a spotlight on her new tat.

Yitty is Lizzo's dream creation, a "shapewear brand set to revolutionize the industry." According to the press release, it has been designed for all body types from size 6X to XS.

Lizzo says so on her Instagram as well, "This is a dream 5 years in the making…. Introducing @YITTY: Shapewear you can wear Underwear, Overwear, Anywhere. For Every Damn Body. 6X to Xs. Are you ready for the YITTY LIBERATION? Coming soon…"

The one thing that caught the attention of eagle-eyed fans is how Lizzo worded Yitty's sizes. Instead of starting with XS and leading up to 6X, it's the reverse.

One comment read, "Leading with 6x instead of ending with it?!?? ?? So excited for this!"

More body positivity followed:

"it’s the “6x to xs” for me like why do we always come last usually!!!"

"I like that it’s framed as 6X to X rather than X - 6X. A small detail that makes a world of difference."

The press release further states that Yitty is "based on the principles of self-love, radical inner confidence, and effortless, everyday wear, YITTY creates a space for women to celebrate their curves, accentuate their beauty and be unapologetically themselves, no matter their shape or size."

Lizzo and shapewear are old friends, especially since her curvy body does not conform to societal standards of beauty.

The three-time Grammy winner states, "I felt that I was constantly being told through TV and magazines that my body wasn’t good enough. And, to be considered ‘acceptable,’ I had to inflict some sort of pain upon it to fit into an archetype of beauty. Because of this, I’ve been wearing shapewear for a long time, maybe since I was in fifth or sixth grade.”

Of course, she broke free of those restrictions way back and takes pride in her body and her form. But her dream is to free other women as well, and she continues, "I was tired of seeing this sad, restrictive shapewear that no-one wanted to wear. I had an epiphany like, ‘who can do something about this?’ I decided to take on the challenge of allowing women to feel unapologetically good about themselves again."

Here's Lizzo, giving her viewers a peek into Yitty.

Lizzo has a message for her fans, and all big girls like her.

"This is a love letter to my big grrrls, and a welcome letter to Every Body. This is *not* an invitation to change who you are… this is an opportunity to BE who you are on your terms. I don’t know about y’all— but I’m sick of people telling me how I’m supposed to look and feel about my body. I’m tired of discomfort being synonymous with sexy. If it’s uncomfortable TAKE IT OFF. And if it makes you feel good PUT IT ON. @YITTY isn’t just shapewear, it’s your chance to reclaim your body and redefine your beauty standard. I love y’all—"
