Two is better than one, or is it?
Bachelor Nation was recently gifted with the news there would be two leads on the upcoming season of “The Bachelorette.”
After the emotional rollercoaster that was Clayton Echard’s season of “The Bachelor,” viewers were largely thrilled by the idea of Echard’s final two picks both having a second chance at love!

Echard made Bachelor Nation history when he broke up with Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey at the same time after he realized Susie Evans was the true love of his life.
Bachelor Nation made no effort to hide the feeling of uncertainly lingering over the news of a double ‘Bachelorette season; How will it work? Will both women date the same group of men?
Any feelings of uncertainty were quickly eclipsed by how ecstatic Recchia and Windey were to share their second shots at love together.
Of her ‘Bachelorette’ partner in crime, Recchia excitedly shared, “I’m so happy for her. I truly am. It’s crazy, this is insane. I’m excited to do this journey with you. We did this once together and we’ve been through the most crazy experience together.”
Kaitlyn Bristowe Speaks Out
Someone who may know a thing or two about a shared ‘Bachelorette’ season, isn’t ready to celebrate the idea just yet.
Longtime Bachelor Nation fans may recall how Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of “The Bachelorette” initially featured two leads.
The premise of Bristowe’s season incorporated voting into the mix.
The men she shared with Brit Nilsson declared which woman had their hearts by voting on which woman would become the lead. Nilsson was ultimately sent home.
Seeing double on “The Bachelorette” still does not feel very good for Bristowe.
She recently spoke her mind about next season’s news, and the idea of having multiple women on deck to have the ‘Bachelorette’ title.
One And Done?
According to an episode of Bristowe’s podcast “Off The Vine” as per Us Weekly, she “Just want(s) somebody to have their own season and I just don’t want it to be them pitted against each other.”
As for the mysterious format, Bristowe added, “I don’t know how the format is going to work. I don’t know what their little system is going to be, but I know how two Bachelorettes felt and it felt like we were being pitted against each other for the men to decide.”
Above all, the formatting situation for ‘The Bachelorette’s latest season felt “triggering” for Bristowe.
The former ‘Bachelorette’ lent a hand for the two seasons of “The Bachelorette” that aired last year. Bristowe and fellow ‘Bachelorette’ Tayshia Adams shared hosting duties while the franchise searched for a permanent host.
Jesse Palmer first stepped into hosting duties with Echard’s season of “The Bachelor.”
Bristowe recently shared more of her feelings pertaining to the franchise when she revealed she and Adams were informed they wouldn’t be returning to the franchise.
According to The Blast’s recent report on the news, Bristowe “Saw at the end of the finale, Jesse Palmer was announcing the two ‘bachelorettes,’ and he said he was going to be by their side for that, so, I guess spoiler alert I’m not coming back.”
She has no hard feelings toward Palmer or the ‘Bachelor’ franchise.
Bristowe added, “I think Jesse’s amazing. He’ll be a great host and I hope he helps Gabby and Rachel in any way that he can.”
