During a previous interview with Glamour for their "On a Date With…" series, the "Chasing The Rain" star opened up about his career and marriage to Angela.

Before joining Hollywood, Matt was the Atlanta Braves' batboy for two seasons, a period he described as the time of his life.

However, his passion changed to acting after getting a job as an extra for the golf movie "Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius."

Once he had a taste for the art, the aspiring actor moved to Los Angeles, and in six months, he made his official debut in the ABC pilot "Commander In Chief."

Afterward, the Ohio native has starred in popular projects such as "90210," "Heroes," and "Star-Crossed." He also voiced several animated characters for shows like Disney's "Ultimate Spiderman" and "Star Wars."

Matt confessed that he loved having a successful career, but it could not be compared to his relationship with Angela, who he met while visiting his mom in Ohio.

Because the actor worked in L.A, the pair had a long-distance relationship that eventually blossomed into a Star Wars-themed wedding.

According to the "Secret of the Wings" voice actor, the couple kept their romance alive through communication, fun date nights, and faith in God.
