Kanye West And Kim Kardashian Put Up Surprising United Front At Son's Game

It seems Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are putting aside their squabbles for the sake of their kids.

The estranged lovers who have been at each other's necks for quite some time now made their first joint public appearance in a very, very long time.

Per TMZ, Kim and Kanye made a surprise appearance over the weekend at their son Saint's soccer game in Los Angeles. The doting parents stood shoulder-to-shoulder on the field as they watched their little one on the field.

It was a happy family affair as the pair was joined by big sister North West, Chicago, and Psalm. In a video taken of the outing, Kim and Kanye twinned in matching black outfits and kept a short distance between themselves, with the SKIMS founder sitting on a foldable chair while Ye stood.

The kids interacted well with both parents, running back and forth between Ye and Kim. The Yeezy founder was in super dad mode with a proud smile on his face as he squatted to take a video of Saint.

Despite being in the same public space for the first time in a long while, the video didn't show Ye and Kim interacting apart from leading the kids in and out of the park.

The pair were also greeted by a mutual third party and seemingly had a mini interaction then. Although it was evident that things weren't particularly friendly between the exes, it was indeed a major victory to see them sharing the same space.

Of late, things have been super nasty between the former couple regarding co-parenting and child custody, so their united front at Saint's game was undoubtedly a breath of fresh air.

Before the peaceful co-parenting exhibited by Kim and Kanye, the exes were at loggerheads over their children, with the rapper taking the most offense.

The pair's public fallout over their children began with Kanye's lashing out over his daughter North's presence on TikTok despite his admonishment against it.

Ever since, the rapper hasn't backed down, accusing the "KUWTK" of actively trying to keep him away from their four kids.

As The Blast reported, Ye went on one of his rants in early March after North was again seen on TikTok.

"I told y'all before about this tik tok stuff. Now my 8 year old on here singing she fell in love with an emo girl," he wrote. "Leftist don't want fathers to have no say in our childrens lives. I don't want my kids at godless Sierra Canyon school. I got a voice and I'm not having this."

Ye indeed doubled down on not having it with Kim, and in another video rant, warned her to stop "antagonizing me" while warning about society's bias against fathers.

He then accused his ex-wife of particularly keeping North from him, recalling several incidents. He shared a story from his "Donda 2" listening party in Miami when he booked a flight for all the kids, but North wasn't put on the plane.

In another story, Kanye claimed Kim didn't allow North to join him for his famous Sunday service even though he had adjusted the time to fit her schedule.

Amid these claims, Kim stayed silent, at least until her ex-husband made an atrocious claim. As we covered, alongside a photo of North's bag pack with mysterious lapel pins, Kanye wrote, "his was on my daughters back pack when I was "allowed" to see her last week This is why I go so hard for my family I am wired to protect my family at all cost As the priest of my home Don't worry Northy God is still alive."

Seemingly fed up with his antics, Kim didn't hold anything back as she commented underneath the post, "please stop with this narrative, you were just here this morning picking up the kids for school."

Per sources, the KKW Beauty owner found most of her ex-husband's charades on social media "exhausting" and was looking to move on from all the drama in peace.

It's no news that she previously declared that Kanye's posts caused her "emotional distress," but with their recent appearance, it seems both parties are now more focused on maintaining the peace.
