Julia Fox Talks Upcoming Book

During an interview on the blue carpet, the "Uncut Gems" star opened up about her upcoming book, which she described as one of her "dream projects."

Fox, who gained popularity in recent times for her relationship with rapper Kanye West, hesitated to get into details about the book, saying, "I don't wanna give too much of it away because I am very superstitious. I don't like to speak to things before they're finished."

She, however, shared that the book so far "is a masterpiece." When asked by the reporter if the book is fiction or a memoir, Fox said, "No, it was going to be a memoir at first but now it's just like my first book."

As for the time frame for the release, she commented, "That'll be coming out soon." This isn't Fox's attempt at writing, as she has published two books of photography, "Symptomatic of a Relationship Gone Sour: Heartburn/Nausea" and "PTSD."

Fox turned heads on the carpet in an all-black ensemble. She donned a black leather dress that featured a dramatic neckpiece that resembled a hand around her neck.

The model covered up with a black coat and accessorized with a handbag made of real human hair. When discussing her looks with the hosts on the carpet, Fox shared her dress was from Balenciaga and her neckpiece from a German designer whose name she can't pronounce.

She also dished on her trademark cat-eye look, saying she drew it herself for the award after-party. When asked by the interviewer how she feels about making the news more than ever before, the 32-year-old said, "you know I'm so busy and caught up with my son and my whole life so I don't really feel it that much to be honest. I'm really good at dissociating I guess."

The 'Uncut Gems' Star On Kanye West's Social Media Antics

Fox's appearance at the Oscars after-party comes a week after she gave her two cents about her ex-boyfriend's social media rants, as reported by The Blast.

Ye and Fox dated for two months amid his ongoing divorce from estranged wife Kim Kardashian before ending things in February.

As you might know, Kanye has dedicated most of his Instagram posts to calling out Kim's boyfriend, Pete Davidson, and dishing on their divorce proceeding.

The Yeezy founder even released graphic music videos that depicted him physically assaulting Davidson, who he refers to as Skete.

Amid the fiasco, Fox maintained that her ex-boyfriend wouldn't pose a threat, dismissing all notions that Ye was capable of being violent towards Kim and Davidson.

"Kanye is harmless. I just think that's his artistic, creative expression. I know it's aggressive and… but I really don't [think he'd hurt anyone]. I think that if it really came down to it… I don't think Kanye would hurt a fly and that's all I have to say," she declared.

As for if Ye was capable of hurting himself, Fox said she wasn't sure and promised to give him a call to find out.

However, in a shocking twist, days after her interview, Fox took to social media to backtrack on her thoughts about Kanye's erratic behavior.

In a since-deleted post, she wrote, "I thought this question was in reference to the music video. Yeah I could just not answer questions but then it would be 'Julia is mad she salty' etc and I'm not! It's a real catch 22 so please stop F'n asking me!"

Fox revealed that she wasn't aware of Kanye's Instagram posts at the time of the interview and urged that she had a life and a son that occupied most of her time.

" I don't have google alerts for this man! I wish I had the answers but I do not. I would like to remain an Indie Queen. The mainstream life isn't for me," she declared.
