2018 Grammy Predictions: Who Will Win?

Mega

Unlike their film and television counterparts, the Grammy Awards are notoriously hard to predict.

(Though if Adele is on the ballot, she’s a sure thing.)

This year is already a departure from Grammy’s past. Hip-hop and R&B artists are dominating the nominations in all the major categories which is not something Grammy voters have paid enough mind to in the past so it’s anyone’s guess where their votes will land.

Record of the year

“Redbone”  Childish Gambino – Let us be the first to say: Donald Glover has EGOT written all over him! That’s an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony, FYI.
“Despacito” Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee featuring Justin Bieber
“The Story of O.J.” Jay-Z
HUMBLE. Kendrick Lamar
“24K Magic” Bruno Mars

Album of the year

“Awaken, My Love!” Childish Gambino
“4:44” Jay-Z
“DAMN.” Kendrick Lamar
“Melodrama” Lorde
“24K Magic” Bruno Mars – The album is great but TBH not what we would pick if we were voting but Jay and Kendrick might split the vote giving neither a majority.

Song of the year

“Despacito”
“4:44” – Jay’s apology to Bey, written by him, that is all.
“Issues”
“1-800-273-8255”

*FYI song of the year goes to the writers and composers*
