The New Album Is Inspired By A Joni Mitchell Song

Styles is yet to share his inspiration or work process for this album, but it is clear that the title "Harry's House" borrows its name from Joni Mitchell's 1975 song, titled "Harry's House/Centerpiece." The song is from her album titled "The Hissing of Summer Lawns."

Styles has said several times that he is a fan of Mitchell and her music, so it's no surprise he would choose a name inspired by her work. In 2019, during an interview with Rolling Stone, he said he "was in a big Joni hole" during the production of "Fine Line."

The "Adore You" singer explained that he loved her 1971 classic "Blue" so much that he eventually tracked down the woman that built Mitchell's dulcimers in the 1960s and got her to create one for him to use on his album.
