Concerning the court dispute, both Daniels' and Trump's former attorneys, Michael Avenatti and Michael Cohen, have been convicted of felonies.

Avenatti received a guilty verdict last month for defrauding almost $300,000 in book-advance money from Daniels, who detailed the alleged affair in her 2018 "Full Disclosure," which included a prologue by Avenatti. On May 24, the disgraced attorney will be sentenced for his conviction on wire fraud and aggravated identity theft charges, which could land him in jail for up to 22 years.
